Honestly, it's the only late night spot in Leavenworth. But that doesn't mean it's bad. The service here is pretty good and the drinks are pretty cool. The clientele is pretty legit. Just please don't go being super touristy and leave the locals alone.
Had a wonderful and swift experience at the Ducks and Drakes Restaurant today. Ordered two drinks, Lemon Drop and Shirely Temple, and the Nacho Supreme for a total of $37. The Nachos were huge and could easily feed a family of 4 if not a family of 6. Not very busy on memorial day weekend but to no fault of their quality or service.
I certainly don't want to talk smack, but this place was kinda weird. I wanted a dive bar, which it kinda was, but it was filled with older people dressed in what I can only describe as rancher Chic. Service was good and friendly, they have pool tables, and the wings were good. I'm sure the clientele changes depending on weather or not there is a guy in overly-tight wranglers and a button down shirt snap-front shirt and cowboy hat playing acoustic guitar singing country...
