Homefires Bakery is a must stop... We love our morning walk to Dan's Market and a visit to the Homefires Bakery in the store. The bakery rates right up there in the top 5 for me. We would recommend Homefires Bakery to anyone. I give it 5 Stars and look forward to my next visit.
This was our first stop entering Leavenworth. The bakery is hidden in the back of the store, it’s so cute and like this hidden gem within the store. We had gotten Starbucks on our way to Leavenworth and a scone. When we got to Homefires and I saw the scones there, it put Sbux to shame- just on appearance alone. Everything I've ever gotten here has been amazing, and an incredibly good deal. As if that wasn't already everything you could want, the owner used to donate all her delicious day olds to the raft guide camps in Leavenworth (basically camps full of hungry young people who can't afford enough food). I will never come to Leavenworth and not buy a bag or 2 of the amazing muffins.
