Stopped in with 5 people last Thursday night and there was just one person working as server, busser, and host but he was absolutely crushing it even with a full dining room. Vibe/decor was a bit sparse, lacking in warmth but the food was spot on. My hat’s off to that one worker, I did that job for many years and know how hard it can be. Hope you made bank that night, my friend.
In the past few years, we've eaten inside a couple times and it was great.Our most recent activity was takeout on the weekend of Jagerschnitzel. As expected, it was super crispy, not fatty, not overcoated/battered or oversalted. You could taste the protein, the coating & how the flavors, textures complemented each other. Their braised red cabbage & spaetzle were amazing. Portions are generous.

After reading reviews, Ludwig’s seemed like the best choice to enjoy our family dinner on our last night of our Spring Break vacation to Leavenworth, and it did not disappoint! From the service to the food, everything was top-notch! My husband/I shared the platter for 2, others in our party had the pretzel, Reuben, and Schnitzel and everyone was completely satisfied.
