I have been using Trip advisor for quite some time and have found the collective insight they have created very useful for me no matter where I have travelled. So as usual traveling to Leavenworth for holiday break I checked out local wineries of which there are many in this area. Between tasting rooms in town at at many wineries there was no shortage of wine tasting opportunities only a shortage of time to see them all. Newest of three Obelisco tasting rooms. These are premium, best of Washington wines. Known for their Cabs, the Merlot, Malbec, and Sarah are also award winning. Obelisco wines are sophisticated, consistent, and targeted toward those who appreciate quality.
Really great tasting room. Warm atmosphere. Relaxing. Wine’s are top notch. Nathaniel was working the day we were there and he was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great conversationalist. Prices are competitive with other boutique wines and worth every penny. If you’re in Leavenworth and looking for good wine, obelisco is a must stop.
