Google maps led us to a dark alley when I searched for this restaurant. Eventually, I found it on the main street. The restaurant is pretty good and has a lot of great options for vegetarians. Their habanero sauce was a fire. Great taste and fire. Too bad we had to order chips and salsa and not for free as most of the nice Mexican restaurants do. No free chips refill too. I felt like they were catering to the type of people coming to visit Leavenworth. Food quality and taste were on point. Weirdly enough most of the restaurant was empty on Sunday afternoon and we asked the hostess to be seated in bench-style seating but they refused to say they want people to sit up front. Not sure why maybe because they want to give the perception of a full restaurant to the outsider. I would recommend the Burrito and burrito as a bowl. Both of which came with purple Cabbage salad and some chips. Burrito Cubano had banana, rice, and bean filling which was tasty. Bowl came with guac and beans which were equally tasty. One of my friends ordered veggie enchiladas which looked and tasted delicious. I eould definitely recommend this place.
Updating my review as I noticed drastically smaller portions now compared to first time we visited and at higher price.

The cuisine was very good. It's not the usual chain restaurant fair. For example, the black bean side dish had a Peruvian styling. The entree was an original take on an enchilada. It was also quite good.

This restaurant is always our go to when we visit Leavenworth! We are vegetarians and they have some great vegetarian/vegan options. We love the Sweet Potato Enchiladas and the Mission Burrito in a Bowl!

We’ve been coming to Leavenworth for years and typically get sucked into the German/Bavarian restaurant because, why wouldn’t we? This time we decided to try somewhere new and OMG! The food here was AMAZING! I would come here again rather than some of the cliche places. I got the Grilled Steal Burrito and it was so good. The staff were amazing, the food was amazing, the prices were good. Try it.

We waited quite a while to be seated, even though staff kept walking by and clearly saw us waiting. No one acknowledged us or even said they would help us shortly.
The burger cost $18, plus $2 for cheese, and it came completely different from what I ordered. I understand burgers may not be their specialty, but it was honestly the worst burger I’ve had at a restaurant. My husband’s burrito was basically just rice.
Unfortunately, everything was disappointing—from the service to the food. There’s nothing more frustrating than being hungry and getting a bad meal.

You must visit South while visiting Leavenworth. It’s easy to overlook a mexican restaurant with all the schnitzels and bratwurst in town. I’ve been here a few times now and it’s been consistently great. The Mission burrito is easily in the top three I’ve ever had. The attention to detail shows up everywhere, from the server suggesting different options (ex- choosing corn, flour, or both for your tortilla chips) all of which have been delicious.
The servers here have consistently been excellent. Even if Mexican food is not your usual pick, this place is absolutely worth your time.

We ordered burrito in bowl with Peruvian chicken. We were told it's similar to burrito bowl without the tacos. Disappointed that it only had cabbage and few chicken pieces with some guacamole... Was expecting it to be better considering the price I paid. The service, staff and atmosphere is good.
