Very friendly and helpful waitstaff! Good comfort food cooked well and nice prices for the area. Hidden gem, and I highly recommend it!
Nearby activities: Not far from Leavenworth and the mountain parks and rivers.

Perfect spot to stay and explore the chiwawa River Valley. Very comfortable restaurant and bar after a day or two in the outdoors. Convenient store is convenient. Gas station adjacent to the property. Service was quick and friendly.
Nearby activities: Lakes, valleys, high mountaineering.

Can't speak about the rooms, but the restaurant is outstanding. Went over to Lake Wenatchee to check out the fall colors and stopped on our way back. Wife had a burger and Bloody Mary. Both were solid. But I had the Brat. Tell you what, I've been to Leavenworth 6.3 jillion times and nothing down there beats what I had at the top of Tumwater Canyon. Topped with onions, kraut and sweet mustard. Saying it was fantastic is an understatement. Wednesday's soup is tomato and zucchini. OMG, Flavortown as Guy Fieri might say. I also had the Huckleberry Lemonade. If you have a sweet tooth, its a must grab. They also have a Huckleberry Gin and Tonic, but since we use gin to remove rust from combines before harvest, that was an obvious hard pass. This was an excellent meal.
I've driven past this place for decades and never went, and now I'm disappointed I didn't go sooner! They had lovely wood carvings displayed in their log cabin themed restaurant (for sale even), a few shelves of souvenirs and even a fireplace! Everything was very clean (seriously, the bathroom even smelled good), the atmosphere was fun and family friendly, and the food was good! Our server was on the ball and put up with our dad jokes with a smile. The menu has a good variety of dishes and kids meals. We didn't sit on the patio but it was super cute with a fire pit and tea lights. Will definitely be back! (We went on 10/13/24)
Food and drinks: They have the cutest little coffee shop with Leavenworth merchandise (wasn't open when we went on a Sunday around 5pm understandably) as well as a cafe, bar, and outdoor patio area. Food was tasty and came out quickly. I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks, they were wonderfully crunchy on the outside and the cheese was super stretchy. Tasted way better than most of the plasticy cheese you usually get in your mozz sticks. The fish tacos were really fresh looking and smelled really good (I don't like fish but my sister said it was awesome). There weren't many people there but the food still came out fully cooked really fast. I got the Valhalla burger and while I was hoping for more balsamic flavor, the white cheddar and sauteed onions were a great flavorful way to end a day of hiking!

The food is delicious, although the attention is not very good?

Food and drinks: Could have been better. Including price. Eating out doesn't make sense anymore. 20 dollars for a hamburger ? ? sucks.

Restaurantji Recommends
We stopped here this summer to eat dinner. The food was pretty bad, but we were passing through again this morning and gave it another shot and was going to try the coffee. Stood at the counter for a while and nobody came to take our order so we decided to leave, but I needed to use the restroom first and I’m 8 months pregnant. I was approached rudely by a server who said “FYI our bathrooms are for customers only” I told her I tried to order a coffee but nobody was ever at the counter. She said “okay well let’s go charge you for something then you can use the bathroom” I understand bathrooms are for customers only, but I tried to buy something and was not able to. Also, I am visibly very pregnant and I can’t imagine ever refusing a pregnant woman to use a restroom.

Ordered breakfast to go while staying at Lake Wenatchee. The food was quite good. The portions are a bit stingy.

We had a delightful stay. It's close to Leavenworth, quiet, and the rooms are clean. We ate in the restaurant and were pleased with the excellent food. Great service too. On Friday night, there was live music in the bar. Definitely a good choice, and a lot less expensive than going all the way into Leavenworth.

Food and drinks: Didn't care for the breakfast potatoes they were weird the rest of the food was average
This was a cute place to stay! I wish it were a little bit closer to Leavenworth, but it wasn't terribly far...only about 20 miles.
The restaurant next door had good service and good food.
Would recommend, but if you plan to go to Leavenworth frequently, maybe it is worth it to stay in town. Otherwise, it was a great stay.
