Vito and his wife have completely transformed the Squirrel Tree Resort into something truly special. From the moment you walk in, the hospitality is unmatched, you will feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The food is absolutely incredible, full of flavor and clearly made with love.
We stayed at the Lake Wenatchee RV Resort and came over to enjoy live music at the Squirrel Tree Restaurant, which was such a highlight of our trip. The atmosphere was lively, the service outstanding, and the community vibe made it feel like home.
It’s clear that Vito and his wife have poured their hearts into this place, not only creating an amazing destination for travelers but also making a real positive impact on the local community. If you’re anywhere near the area, Squirrel Tree Resort is an absolute must-visit!

$28 for a burger (though good) and a shake is crazy! The shake was $10?! And it was strawberry banana with just syrup no fruit. Yikes. Used to be a good place to have a drink and a sandwich after stopping up at Lake Wenatchee for berry picking, hiking or other outside activities. Now you might as well go to Kahler Glen to spend that kind of money and let the Seattle bound folks stop here. (Oh yeah the bar is gone).

Never checked in. When we realized it was 15 miles outside of Leavenworth we canceled our Priceline reservation. It is a very falsely advertised hotel in Leavenworth. IT IS NOT IN LEAVENWORTH To make things worse, after complaining about this, they offered to payback 50% , but after frequent efforts to collect, we have been ghosted. Don't be fooled by Squirrel Trees false advertising. And we don't book through Priceline anymore.

Great place to spend a night away. The room was updated recently. The bathroom shower was large. It's a bit noisy by the highway, but they provide earplugs in the room, so I appreciated that in the middle of the night!

So this place was good price. The room honestly was good. Downfall was no microwave and a way to heat things up in room - i had called ahead to verify and was told by lady staff there was when actually that was not true. I also requested for bottom floor room 2 weeks in advance and was guaranteed so I payed ahead and well that was also a lie and I was forced an upstairs room even though I was promised down stairs. I think the most irritating part was what my small family brought home after staying 2 nights in your room. Bed Bugs. I have never had before and oh my word that was by far the nasty and sucked as it cost me alot of money to clean my home after staying there.. I mean its a nice place but bed bugs is what turned me from prob not wanting to go back. If we had never got them there it was going to be a yearly trip. However I dont want to have to spend between 2000 to 3000 to clean my home after staying in a bed bug infested. I'm sorry to have to leave a upsetting review but it bothered me......

We came to see live music and the lady who books it was extremely drunk and creepy to my husband. He was very uncomfortable. Will not be coming back. Too bad because it was a beautiful place to visit.

We had a great experience at both restaurant and hotel. The food delicious, the rooms were clean and comfortable. Perfect place for family - our kid loved it!
What really made our stay special were incredibly kind and welcoming owners – they truly go above and beyond to make guests feel at home. Highly recommended!

Stayed for three nights four days for my birthday weekend with my son and his family and we had a wonderful time, such a great time we are going to make this a tradition. It was a great location, the staff was so friendly and we were able to bring our dogs. Friday and Saturday night they had a man that sang and played guitar outside, the kids had tons of games to play with out there and the alcoholic drinks were yummy.
Vito and his entire staff are super nice, hospitable and just amazing people! Tonight we were in a pickle with my mom, Stephanie, needing something to eat in a short time and they totally saved the day and my mom loved her ribeye and her husband had the chicken grilled sandwich. We will always support the Squirrel tree!! They are one of the best in Leavenworth and made my family feel super welcome. 👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️ thank you guys!

Small quaint resort, very clean, kind, and helpful staff. Surprised how little highway noise I heard. With hard floors, can hear upstairs neighbors a bit. Food great. Restaurant so rustic inside, with log walls and stone fireplace. An outdoor eating area in back. There was even live music the nights I was here from 7-9. So glad I stayed.

Small and clean rooms. Restaurant and café on site with good food. Owners and staff were very friendly. Restaurant does have gluten free options and they were awesome about food allergies. About 20 minutes from downtown via car, so not walkable, but nice and quiet.

If you are looking to stay around coles corner and don't want to pay for a ridiculously expensive air bnb, its one of the very limited choices you have. It's a good spot though. Good food, good drinks, great milkshakes. Rooms serve their purpose. It's everything you need under one roof.
