The food was excellent, we had the cod and the rib eye, and both were very good. Order a glass of wine, and was pleasantly surprised at a large 8 oz serving, followed by a half a glass. Our server Becky recommended we try their pies ? made by a well experienced baker, and wow ? was she right, they were awesome. Don’t have dinner without finishing with a piece of pie.We’re visiting from Atlanta, and have been here for breakfast many times, but never for dinner. We will be back!...
We were debating where to eat breakfast and decided on Wild Huckleberry. We weren’t disappointed! Great food, great service, great Bloody Mary with homemade mix, and the view was incredible! Definitely the best food we had during our stay in Leavenworth.
Normally I would give this restaurant a 5-Star rating but not during the pandemic. The young blonde waitress we had was very inconsiderate about wearing her mask. Most of the time it was barely covering her mouth much less her nose. And she was making drinks using the cash register and serving food ... never washing her hands in between. Made me a little leary about the rest of the staff, but the food made up for it. Plus the bathrooms could use some attention throughout the day...
