disgusting lunch. greasy fries and fish, gelatinous cheese on overdone pasta, overdressed salad, weird taste combinations. no vegetarian choices.

A delightful first time experience in this amazing setting. The fish and chips is, hands down, the best we have had since our times in Scotland! Generous portions, perfectly cooked, crispy fries. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent service and food, the atmosphere is amazing and beautiful in the igloo. We have dined inside a few times and enjoyed our meal just the same as the igloo?Highly recommend if you are visiting Plain, stop in for a great meal and service!!!!!!

Stayed in Leavenworth for the weekend. Found this place on Google, amazing food and even greater service. Caitlin took care of us, gave us amazing recommendations (mushrooms & crab cakes are a must for apps). The chef and Colin (the restaurant manager) stopped by several times to get feedback on the food and experience.A must stop if you are in the central Washington area.

Ugh. I'm super disappointed in my recent experience at Wildflour, which sucks because I had high hopes and was in such anticipation for finally getting an opportunity to dine there. In short, we were there for a birthday celebration in an igloo! The cocktails were well balanced and the food was pretty good, despite being out of a few items. Our server was attentive and fun so really I thought everything was going super well. That was until our group of four was made to feel like we were somehow inconveniencing them by being in our igloo ten minutes after the general two hour reservation window. We received no warning or even notice that we were under a "time limit". We had just received our checks when someone who we had no other interaction with, abruptly unzipped the igloo door and with zero tact or remote politeness said, "the next party is here waiting for this igloo" and left. We were in shock at the complete disregard for a customer service focus. We had no idea that we were causing a delay. If we had been advised of a time limit and/or even notified at any point during the dinner that we getting close to reaching a time limit, we definitely would have respected that and tried to move things along. The pace at which we received our drinks, apps, dinner and dessert was not unreasonable for the SIZABLE check we accrued and idk, it just left SUCH a bad taste in our mouths after having a fairly decent experience up to that moment. Further, I reached out to management after the incident and received no follow up. I will not be making any effort to return in the near future. The food was good, but Larch in Leavenworth is not only comparable, it's better and I have never been made to feel like an inconvenience.

Staff was friendly and very attentive. The manager and chef visited our table and personally delivered some of what we ordered. Generous portions. Our favorite 3 things from what we ordered: The mushrooms were savory with the sweetness of honey. I was tempted to order some bread to mop up the extra sauce but refrained since we had a lot of food ordered. The crab cakes had a nice crispy crust and a very tender center. Not overly breaded. The veggies were a perfect complement. Lamb dish was fantastic with nicely roasted veggies and mashed potatoes.

Had a great experience. Started off with a staff wine recommendation, it was perfect with our dinner! Our entrees were well designed and executed.Filet and homemade gnocchi with fresh vegetables had an incredible blend of flavors. The Pork Shank was accompanied by roasted veggies and garlic mash was truly delicious. A homemade pasta with sauce was also enjoyed tremendously and passed a very discerning palate. Everything was fresh and special. Our server was lovely and the chef even popped over to our igloo to check in.The principle of the thing….The only downside is that you make a $20 non refundable deposit to reserve an igloo to dine in on their patio and then on your check you receive another $20 igloo charge. The deposit doesn’t go to that charge. I didn’t mind one or the other and I thought both was a bit excessive. It’s a cool experience with snow shoved around it, but it is the patio, five steps out the door, they are not trekking across a snowy field to serve you - I tipped very well but I do hope that extra goes to the kitchen staff and not just to the cost of the twinkle lights. It’s a little silly to pay $40 just for the privilege of sitting in a plastic tent to be amused like children (which we are). We did it because it was a birthday and more unique. Not sure I’d pay $40 extra to do it again, but I would absolutely eat here again and happily part with $200 for another masterfully crafted meal!

Perfect gem just a bit out of Plain and close to the State Park. The Wildflour restaurant has a great selection of apps, entrees and deserts and a full bar. Always a few rotating items that keep the menu fresh for each visit. We loved the lamb and cioppino this visit with the roasted mushrooms as an appetizer (which is delicious with always a variety of locally foraged mushrooms in a thyme cream sauce). Great service as always too!

We had a reservation for a group of ladies at Wildflour for a bachelorette party over the weekend - it was a hit! I thought it might be a hit or a miss with the ladies since it was out of town, but it was well worth the trek based on the uniqueness of the restaurant, service, and quality of food and drinks. Pictured here is the Beef Tenderloin dish and lemon drop. The roasted mushroom appetizer, focaccia bread, brussel sprouts, and creme brulee were all DELICIOUS. The chef came out to speak with us, which was a great touch. One thing to be aware of, the outdoor (adorable) igloos sit 6 max, we had to adjust our reservation the day before due to an extra person, but the restaurant accommodated us and we had a lovely table inside. Do not miss this hidden gem of a restaurant if you're in the area!
