Had a wonderful sandwich today. Thank you! We walked in only moments before closing and we’re so appreciative that you still helped us. We are from out of town but come up for our hair color appointments regularly and always want to stop by! Never been disappointed with my food or service here! A staple in my trips through! Thank you!!!
Great food. Fast and Friendly Service. They have lots of choices and quality food. The bread is the best!
I LOVE the crab soup and lobster Bisque soups!! it's disappointing that they aren't regularly carried. more often than not, the soups carried are cheddar broccoli and loaded potato intermittently swapped with Tomato. the seafood soups run out in 1 day. you'd think with their popularity that SanFran Eatery would carrier at least 1 of them full time. when in stock, I purchase at least 4 12oz containers. please consider selling these more frequently. it beats buying McDonald's anyday

San Francisco Sourdough Eatery is a restaurant known for its fresh and delicious sourdough bread. The Cobb salad and sourdough club sandwich are popular choices. The restaurant offers reasonable prices and friendly service. It is a convenient spot for a quick meal, although parking can be limited. The eatery has been consistently good for many years and is a local favorite. Visitors often praise the bread as a standout, and the place offers soups and salads, making it a good option for vegetarians. The small size of the sandwiches is noted, with some considering the large size to be more like a regular portion elsewhere. The space is accessible with plenty of room at the entrance, and high chairs are available for kids. During busy lunch hours, the place can get crowded, so ordering ahead is recommended. Staff are generally friendly, though some reviews mention moments of forgetfulness or service issues, which they quickly try to resolve. Overall, it remains a popular spot for those seeking tasty sourdough sandwiches and a casual atmosphere.
