Worst San Francisco sourdough I’ve been to. They never get my order right. The staff doesn’t seem like they enjoy their job very much, which is to be expected. When I do go in I always order just a simple large turkey no lettuce, extra onion and they never get it right and I don’t understand how. Today ordered the same thing and there’s no onion and extra lettuce. I don’t get how or why they get it wrong every single time. I won’t be back. I always give it a while in between my visits to see and hope that they’ll get it right and they never do.

We came in shortly before closing with a large order and we're welcomed in and Zachariah was amazing!! He made our order accurately and in a timely manner, with a smile on his face the entire time. Zachariah, thank you so much!!

We haven't eaten lunch here but we did get a freshly baked sourdough baguette and it was awesome! As close to San Francisco sourdough we've found here. We have tried at least 15 other sourdough breads from local bakeries, farmers markets etc and they have all been very disappointing. This was flaky, had the right texture, had the right taste. We ate half of it on the way home.

Literally any time I order from this place they mess it up 😅 usually they never give me napkins like EVER. Once I ordered soup and got fuzzballs in my bread and that should have told me how their health inspections are right then and there but I keep ordering 😅 Last week I ordered a #13 combo with the broccoli cheddar soup and they didn’t give me bread. Then today I order the same thing but added bacon to my sandwich and guess what wasn’t on my sandwich? That’s right, no bacon. And I got bread with my soup this time? Like cmon, get it together people it’s really not that difficult. I’ve worked in food industry many years and orders should not be different like this all the time. Seriously, get it together.

I'll start out by saying the food was good, as always, but this was the first time I've had such a negative experience at San Fran Sourdough.
We came through at about 12 on 11/3 to pick up our online order, but weren't acknowledged at the pickup window for almost 10 minutes. When we were finally acknowledged, the employee at the window was extremely rude during the entire interaction.
He was very dismissive during the interaction and didn't seem to be paying attention or care what the orders were - he handed us one sandwich, which was supposed to have soup and a drink with it, so we had to prompt him about it, to which he rolled his eyes and asked what we wanted (their soups rotate, so we then had to prompt again to ask what soups they even had).
After another at least 5 minutes with the window closed, he handed out the one soup and my friend's half sandwich, which was supposed to also had soup and a drink, so we had to prompt him once again that there was supposed to be soup and a drink with the order. All of this information was on the tickets, and he rolled his eyes when we were asking him for what we paid for.
When we finally got everything, we told him to have a good day and he shut the window in our faces without saying anything.
I'm not usually one to ever post a review, but this experience was just so off putting and the employee, a young blonde man, was extremely rude and made us feel like we were doing something wrong by asking to get what we paid for.

Great sandwiches, the order taker never ever listens of the 15 sandwiches I’ve got I get the exact same thing every single time, large Italian light mayo, extra mustard and balsamic vinegar and never do they get the extra right, came in today same thing but I didn’t even get balsamic at all, so the tint I wanted extra of I got zero of, when you call to try to rectify the situation they never answer, never. To top it off they were out of straws and didn’t bother to tell anyone, good news the other customers did
So many sandwich places have great stuff inside but the bread is just meh. This bread is SO GOOD.
I love the variety on their menu, so many great sandwich ideas.
I know it is just a basic sammich shop, but I liked the vibe in here. A fun place to meet friends for lunch.
The employees are very helpful and keep busy when not helping customers. Very clean and tidy in here. Prices very reasonable.
My only complaint is they are kind of out of the way for me, but that is probably best for my waistline. 🤣
In all seriousness, great sandwich, great price, great service. Thank you.

We placed a large order for several people. I ordered a Cobb salad. It had half an egg and a few pieces of deli meat. The rest was made up of brown and slimy lettuce and lettuce ends. I can’t believe they made a salad with that bad lettuce and sent it out. So much for a nice lunch. Everyone saw it and was not impressed.

Kids working here are unprofessional/messy eating sandwiches and on their phones instead of doing their jobs. Also they haven’t had several ingredients 3 consecutive visits. Wouldn’t waste my time coming to this place as it’s sadly gone bad. Unlucky.
Great value. Great food!
