Fun place to visit. We always bring home grillers and steamers. Sooo good!
I’m a private chef and ordered Hama Hama oysters for the first time a couple weeks ago for a 28-person dinner party. They were shipped to my location in Arkansas. I could not believe how fresh the oysters were! Everyone raved about them. I’m most definitely ordering again. Fantastic product.
Freshest oyster I ever had.

A magical find on our roadtrip to Olympic. Food was fantastic, the place is right on the water… we will definitely be going back!

Visited the retail market. They were sold out of several key items and had just opened for the day. Long line, only one person working the counter. Oysters were very dirty. Much more cleaning of the outer shell required than when I’ve ordered from Taylor Shellfish in the past. Not sure if the prep them differently when they ship them or serve them in their saloon but I’d hope so.
Would like to try again and dine in. Hopefully they have basic things like mignonette next time.

It was lovely! Food and service was the bomb. And we loved the outdoor dining in our special a-frame shelter. View was stellar, and even the dogs got treats and water.

Came on a weekday and shucked our own while enjoying the views. The oysters were so fresh and delicious and the staff so kind. Great way to spend an afternoon.

It was a Tuesday so no Oyster Saloon. We had hoped for smoked oysters and they had them in the cooler which was not what we were looking for. The only viable lunch option was a bowl of seafood chowder which was good but not what we were expecting. The scenery is nice but cluttered with signs. I mean there are signs everywhere. Someone has a fetish for signs apparently.

My husband and I always stop in here when we take a day trip around the canal. I've enjoyed watching this business grow from just the shop to what it is today.
The restaurant is delicious. Even the non-oyster dishes. At least, according to my husband. I'm there for the oysters.
The shop is amazing. It's filled with wonderful local food gems. Salts from Oregon and the San Juan Islands. Locally canned tuna, mussels, and smoked oysters. Hot sauces. Cheeses and butters. Live dungies. Smoked salmon. Fresh shucked oysters to take home or camping and cook.
Whatever you do when you're here, buy the oysters. They're phenomenal.

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I made reservations online, but I had a party of nine. Before I could make the reservation for the second half of our party, all the reservations sold out (4 minutes to sell out Friday thru Sunday!) Anyway, once we got there the hostess told me they were sold out...but then she went and figured out a way for us all to sit 2 tables next to each other anyway. Above and beyond, so thankful for the great service and phenomenal food. Go here, you won't regret it!
Vegetarian options: The tomato and black bean soups, and grilled cheese sandwich.

Was really excited to try hama hama. I have been meaning to go here since 2020. I live in seattle and finally had s free weekend so took the 2 and a half hour drive out to this place since I've heard great things. The oyster shell piles were really cool to see upon arrival and the servers are all great, but that's where the good stuff stops. We didn't have a reservation so had to wait which is standard and didn't bother me. I was just curious why their waiting area has tons of tables that they could be using for service but are not. Kind of threw me off honestly. So we go over to the waiting area and ordered a pitcher of sangria. Unfortunately , the sangria was one of the worst I've ever had. so save yourself the $40 if you're at all familiar with how sangria should taste. It tastes like a gas station wine cooler, so if you like those then you're probably safe. Really doesn't help that they add shredded ice to your cup and the sangria was warm so it watered it down a lot too. I dumped the ice out and the sangria was a bit more tolerable since it wasn't watered down. We ordered the cocktail shrimp and it came with tons of single use plastic which really annoyed me. The shrimp came in a plastic cup with plastic forks and plastic cocktail sauce cups. By the time we got both of those and sat down to eat our appetizer while we waited for our table the hosts came over and says our table was ready. I ordered the roasted oysters with bourbon butter and the crab cake. The roasted oysters were barely warm. The bourbon butter is too sweet for me. I thought the bourbon butter might come on the side so my bad on that. I love roasted or grilled oysters with a little sauce on the side and I'm used to my roasted or grilled oysters coming out really hot, so was not to my expectations. The crab cake was better than the oysters. All the bathrooms are porto Pottys too so be prepared. They have a good size building but who knows what's even in there? Over all even if I lived nearby and not in seattle I don't think I would come again. Prices are seattle expensive too, so really no reason to drive out. It's fun for a gimmick and to go once to check it out to see the oyster piles but beyond that not even mediocre. Really disappointed.

Fantastic spot to enjoy fresh seafood and oysters with a great view! Bundle up for the outdoor seating if it’s chilly, and order the chowder!
