Comfy cozy venue, very large variety of food on the menu. Had the halibut fish and chips and a cup of clam chowder. Halibut was moist, and chowder had plenty of flavor and clams. The service was friendly and efficient.

Ate here for the first time last week. Super impressed with the updated interior and fast, friendly, responsive service. And the FOOD, wow!!! I had a gyro salad, the guys had gyro fries (huge servings), and my daughter had a spectacular veggie gyro. The tzatziki was wonderful and rich and made a nice change from all the fried food I've eaten lately. Definitely will be back!

Clam chowder was really good( so good I almost forgot to snap a picture)Definitely the best new England style in the area. Smash burger was good. Maybe next time I'll ask to see if i can toast the bun to give it the extra crisp I needed. The gyro was also very full and flavorful. Owner of the store was also nice. Staff was very friendly as well. Definitely would recommend if you wanted some clam chowder

I feel really really bad about this review but every review I've done I'm always honest and up front about everything. 1st off the owners of the small business are a married couple. She seems nice just probably really busy but the husband is super nice. I ordered wings and found out they don't have any wasn't super happy about that but okay 👌🏿 cool you run out of things. It should have been on a board or something to let the customers know and the person who took my order didn't even know. Never seen a blt on a brioche bun but I said I'll try it. Dry, I thought it supposed to have mayo on it, then it has shredded lettuce not leafy lettuce and the lettuce kept falling out. Matter of fact all the ingredients were falling out couldn't stay together at all. High tide gyros was small for the price and okay tasting. Smash burger wasn't that good either. The other thing I got was their clam chowder now that was the one thing I originally went there for and it didn't disappoint. My buddy got clam chowder from the bakery up the road and there is no comparison b&d's the best. Please support the small businesses especially in your community. When I go back I'm definitely going back here for another quart of clam chowder

Was in long beach for vacation stopped in for lunch. Great place!! The food is delicious. Loved the gyros. The bowls and fries were very tasty. The owners are so nice. They gave me free order of fries because I forgot to order them. They should come to Coeur d'Alene Idaho and open up a restaurant here. I know we all would appreciate the food. 5 stars!!!
I dont think I have ever paid $16.50 for French fries before but it will be the last time. The service was great and super friendly. The fries were pretty good but I guess I had in mind like this image a a boatload of them covered in parmesean. The box was full and the fries are nicely cut but for the price, it's a no go.

First time visit and we are super impressed… food amazing, best wedge salad ever, great clam chowder… took some home to friends and the jalapeño smash burger…well…YUM!! We had the High tide Gyro and Gyro salad (pictured), everything was very fresh and delicious 😋. Got the food to go, it took about 20 minutes and well worth the wait. We ate our food on the beach. I highly recommend B&Ds Food Hut, stop in for some wonderful eats!
