Such a lovely tourist trap. Wonderful staff. Basic atmosphere using the public space nextdoor as a lure. I'm sorry. . . The "biscuits" are just awful. Bad. You decided to make your own thing. I get it. If I order a BLT I get those things. Biscuit and gravy is the only safe food that is the same until now. . . Please for the sake of Americans everywhere. Just stop the awful recipe ya got going. . . You make so many kinds of nice crescent rolls. Do some research on biscuits. Mic drop

Dungeness crab benedict is where it's at, with perfectly fried hash browns. This is my upscale diner dream. And my kid enjoyed his pancake. Glad I ordered just one for the kiddo -- it was as large as the massive plate. Other kid enjoyed the French toast and oatmeal. If you're into your coffee, maybe get it somewhere else. Expect diner coffee here. Nothing to remove a star about though, that's typical for a diner.

We were looking for a breakfast place in Long Beach and decided to give Benson's a try. We were so glad we did! Delicious food came to our table after a short wait. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was really tasty. My Big Bro ordered the pancake breakfast and the pancake was so large, it extended over the plate it was served on! He loved the light and fluffy texture and told me that the pancake was delicious. Lil Sis ( who has a little appetite ) ordered the kid's French Toast with strawberries and whipped cream. She gave it a "thumbs up". My kid ordered the breakfast sandwich and hoovered it up in minutes! The prices are quite reasonable and everything was delish! Highly recommend!
