I wish I could give 1 million stars. we were on our honeymoon from Indiana in Long Beach. Found this place first day there and we visited every single day. we loved every single thing we got. their baked treats are so good. best I've ever had. I may have to fly across the country just for your treats!

Awesome bakery! OMG, the biggest maple doughnut around! They make something they called maple dogs I think…a maple bar filled with cream! YUMMY 🥹😅
Massive selection of baked fresh daily bread and pastries.
They also are making fresh deli sandwiches with all that good bread too.
Look, you have to stop and check out all the other really cool stuff that surrounds the bakery anyways, so check them out!

Staff was amazing and friendly. Food was terrific. My husband and I each got a doughnut and a couple cookies and everything was absolutely amazing! The doughnuts were fresh, soft and delicious as were the cookies.

Being a occasional patron for the past 15 plus years I have noticed a change not necessarily for the good after new ownership. Hopefully with the intent of improvement. I will comment only on the items that I purchased. The blueberry scones lacked flavor and consistency very dry and crumbled like sawdust. Cinnamon rolls with "cream cheese" tasted like Crisco lard and powdered sugar. This was not cream cheese. The cinnamon roll as it stood alone was good.

Disappointed this visit. I asked for a certain pastry and was downgraded a stale alternative same with my husband he specifically asked for a frosted item and was given a glazed instead? Both items were on display, guess I will put it down to misunderstandings, we had waited until we were away from the place otherwise I would've gone back, we were just to tired to turn around. They have a very good selection of Berkey items, it maybe boiled down to coming late in the day? We will be back, most items are great it's an institution in the area.
