The food and environment were great, but what really stood out was the service. I can't remember the last time I've been served by a waitress at this skill level; she was friendly, accommodating, attentive, lightning fast, and super attuned to not just us but every single individual in the building. Absolute flow state service. I spent a decade working in the service industry and can count on one hand the number of truly gifted servers I've seen, and El Compadre has one. We'll be back soon and often.

Tasty! Husband had the El Compadre special and I got to taste the chile relleno…so good! My pollo ala Crema is delicious…the sauce!!! Large portions and great service!

We were just walking through town checking out the shops and got hungry. We had decided to go ahead and try this place. We were greeted and seated immediately. Food was amazing. The owner was the one who waited on us, and had asked us questions like about where we were from. He was very friendly very nice and his food was really really good. It ended up being a little too much for lunch, so we took it back to our Airbnb for leftovers.
