The food was good, but the old male at the front taking orders was very hostile and not a good greeter.I had mistakingly brought my water bottle in and instead of kindly letting me know the policy and the issue with it he was very harsh towards me and my family and even seemed racist.The other employees were very kind and attentivive except him. He also pinched my money away when he was taking my payment for food.The customer service was so poor that the rest of the family bought no food because we felt disrespected and wouldn't buy food from someone that had no problem with being hostile towards paying customers.

We walked into Hungry Harbor after seeing a few other shops. We had purchased some souvenir cups and some donuts from a bakery. Upon entering we were immediately accosted by the owner, Dennis. Not with a greeting, but with a very stern "You can't have outside food or drinks here". We asked if we could dump the drinks, to which he responded "Sure and then throw them away." When we tried to explain they were souvenir cups, he cut us off and said "I don't care, throw then away or go eat somewhere else" He says all of this from a completely empty restaurant at 12pm on a Saturday. I wonder why.

Owner is EXTREMELY rude. Had 2 different instances with him all while waiting for our food. He just watches out the kitchen for reasons to call people out. Read several other comments to see if this was uncommon, but unfortunately my family and I are in good company.The gal taking orders was super friendly and efficient. Food was okay.Unfortunately though, I don't think we'll be back after how we were treated.

The cashier lady said we could not have a small cup for my 5 year old son who just had oral surgery and couldn't drink out of a straw. We bought him a Gatorade but had to go to the Long Beach Tavern next store to get the paper cup for his drink. I think seeing all the cups behind her was the most frustrating part. ?
Staff is amazing and food is great! Highly recommend fish and Chips. Not a fan of seafood usually but I have been convertedVegetarian options: Have a few vegetarian options

Good food and great customer service. We ordered the Prime rib dinner at 4pm on Saturday. Perfectly done with medium well and tastes good. My husband ordered the special fish and chips with clam chowder special to share. Love it! Will definitely return! ❤️❤️

We came to Long Beach for a few days over Christmas. This was one of the few places open in town. The french dips were suggested to us and were so delicious and the people who were working there were so friendly! We will definitely go back!
