A true locals bar. When we walked in we were given the Long Beach stare. It might be a great place for locals, but if you are visiting, don't bother. The Castaways across the street has pleasant servers and they appreciate your business.

Great outdoor area to watch the cool cars go by during Rod Run. Foods always solid. Drinks ok. I really like the outdoor area, and when busy, they have a second station set up. Had cheese curds today, and they were perfect! Looks like cool hang out for locals in off season, with pool tables, big tvs. Good place to watch sports games.

They seemed short handed so had to order at the bar which was no big deal. Staff was friendly. Burgers were over cooked. Halibut was perfect. Fries and onion rings were awesome. We came in and took over a table that had left.

Wouldn’t allow me to even enter the bar because I had a vertical ID. I’m a legal age and have been in that bar countless times. But, unless you’re a local (which I am) that they recognize, don’t expect quality treatment or service.

Worst service ever! Tried to order food to go for whole family and never got service. Lady behind the bar looked at us. No acknowledgment or anything. Proceeded to help other people and chat with the bar customers. After 15 minutes of sitting at the bar, which is where the sign says to order food we left. I guess old people and those of color are not welcome. Sad in this day and age.
It was a Thursday late night and the fantastic bartender let us stay and play pool, while she was cleaning. Very friendly atmosphere and great people!

I’ve been going to the LBT since the early 1970s. I have never had a bad experience and have enjoyed it every time I’ve gone in. It’s my place to go when I’m in town, which is all summer long. The bartenders have always been friendly, courteous, and attentive. I highly recommend the LBT to anyone who is looking for an enjoyable time.
