This is my first 1 star review, I’m not a jerk I promise. I have a background in hospitality for over a decade, I currently manage a restaurant so I say this with a deep understanding that things happen out of our control and tough nights exist. I have never had service more atrocious than this establishment. My boyfriend had made reservations for us at 7:45, upon entering it took about ten minutes for two groups ahead of us to get acknowledged by staff. Every person that came to the front hostess podium was different. Most tried not to make eye contact with guests waiting and avoided acknowledging the people waiting entirely. By the time we finally made it up, I noticed they had six seats free along the window. We were waiting, and the couple ahead of us had reservations for the same time, were told to wait as our table wasn’t ready yet but it would just be a couple of minutes. This was twenty minutes after our reservation time. We sat directly behind the podium, they eventually had more people come address others in the newly formed line. It turns out these people had reservations for 8 PM. They began seating couples with 8 pm reservations and completely skipped us. There was open tables, but no one seemed to be communicating that two couples waiting directly in front of them were waiting for a table and in retrospect I’m thankful because according to other reviews the experience did not improve upon being seated. Not a single person made an effort to check in, communicate, grab us a refreshment. We just were no longer acknowledged after being told to wait. I saw several servers collected together but did not see a single food plate go out. We left after waiting about 45 minutes for a reservation. A little communication goes a long way. It seemed as if everyone was doing all jobs and that’s not a great way to run a restaurant as communication didn’t happen between servers, the manager, or the customers and the team looked exhausted. We opted not to stay because the entire time we waited we didn’t see a single food plate go out, and heard the bartender apologize over and over again about drink times. One couple was seated for 30 minutes before they got water. This is a small space. It appeared that they had 4-5 people serving/hostessing/bussing (because everyone did every job) not including the person that appeared to be the manager. Wait times like this should not have happened, and there was time to communicate with customers. They just opted not to and I hope through this they’ve learned a little communication goes a long way. People are kind and typically understanding if you let them know what’s going on. (I suspect the kitchen was understaffed but I’m not sure because I didn’t see a single food plate deliver to patrons there) Just tell people what’s happening and communicate with your team. We did end up going to North Jetty Brewing and I would urge you to go there and relax with a pint of beer, prompt communicator service, and great sandwiches.
Food is over priced for what you get- we used to go here and get off the kids menu a huge bowl of buttered noodles for our kid - now it's half the amount for twice as much - $10 for buttered noodles... obviously the rest of the menu is also overpriced.
We had such an amazing time for my friend's birthday. The food was delicious especially the Barada and Caesar salad. The homemade sausage pizza was out of this world. What a fun place to celebrate with great food and a fantastic atmosphere. They even had live music playing.
Ate here for an anniversary. There was live music, which was nice. The food was alright, but not what we expected for the price. It took forever for our main courses to come out. The ambience was poor. They had super bright lights on when they could have used their softer, more decorative light. Our server was great though. She was very attentive. It was just an okay experience when I was hoping and expecting for more.
I love this restaurant and have been a few times. The food is always good and the staff super friendly. I ordered the Chowder and it was delicious. Lots of clams and rich flavor profile. Friends ordered the Burrata Salad, and loved it. On a separate trip I've had the burger, very good, and Chicken fantastic. Enjoy, the view and vibe is worth the trip.
AWFUL! We were served a pizza that had already been served to another table. They had even picked at it!! Unexcusable. Disgusting! Then the waitress argued with us! I hope the owners review the video. This waitress, Ashlyn, needs fired. And the rest of the team needs retrained.
everything was good no complaints there juste one thing it was when I ask our server to switch high top table to a standard sitting it never happened disappointed on that one thing
We loved our experience. The salmon was truly amazing. Their clam chowder also gets 5 out of 5. The views of the ocean were spectacular and our server made the whole experience over the top and they even had live music.
When reserving, did not realize the restaurant was located on the top floor with an incredible view of the stormy Pacific Ocean. Staff was very friendly. Pleasant Thanksgiving outing.
Menu is decent. Execution is not good. Understaffed, poor systems, missed opportunities all around

Well executed food and drinks. Beautiful sunset views, but the "tables" facing the ocean are a narrow shelf/window sill combination, which ends up being a little cramped.
I got the fried rock fish and for $36. It was extremely overpriced. I was expecting like a Panko breading or something more given the price. The fries were limp. I also got the Caesar salad and again for the price, it was not good. The dressing was gloppy and was basically romaine lettuce with packaged parmesan. My son got the steamer clams, which were the best item that we ordered minus the focaccia, which was a big stone and not focaccia at all. I understand you're paying for the ambience, which is really nice, but the food was extremely lackluster and overpriced and I wish I would've gone somewhere else for the money, given expenses are tight right now.
Dinner and then Breakfast the following morning we're both delicious. Gorgeous view of the beach, great atmosphere and a friendly staff!
The BEST crab cake we have ever eaten and the steamer clams were amazing. A bit pricey but we will be back.
The service was great but the food was pretty disappointing at every course. The soup came out cold like we’re talking they didn’t even heat it up before the dinner service, one of us got a burger and asked for it to be medium, it was very well done and the cheese was clearly some manner of fake plastic like substance. The fry’s they use are super cheap. My salmon was good but the couscous it was on was really oily and tasted bad.
The bartender and waitress were very nice and our waitress was literally running around the dinning room trying to serve everyone but the hostess/waiter’s assistant would spend seconds helping seat people and then spent the rest of the two hours we were there just chatting with some friend of hers at the bar. We actually watched the waitress ask her for help bussing and the girl picked up a single tables dishes and went right back to gossiping. We along with nearly every table around us had piles of dishes around us. It was disgraceful.
Beyond the incompetent kitchen and waiters assistant it’s a fine bar. The bartender is really welcoming and skilled and we loved our cocktails. I would return for drinks but I’ll never eat here again.
