Kind of a cool little place. Only has about 10 tables. Great views, but this is our third time here and food is always sub-par. There is only a small number of food options which you would expect they would do really well. Not the case.
I think this will be our last time giving this place a shot.

i come to long beach at least a few times a year, mostly for work. I was starving and this place is the restaurant that is in the hotel I frequent. I really enjoy the food, I got the focaccia and a sausage pizza. I don't know if it was my appetite just being so ravenous, but holy moly. Some damn good food here. That focaccia is pretty good, I would recommend. But, I did love the service here. Thanks for taking care of me when I was so hungry, y'all served and ate with this service (LOL)

At 5 pm we called to see if they did take out. They said wait 2 hours. 2 hours later we still were told not yet. At 8:30 pm we called again and told not yet. We called another half hour later or so we already have waited almost 3 hours now. Last call we were told "not yet and maybe not at all if it stays this busy" well! That really is inconsiderate all other restraints are now closed. I will never go there nor recomend this place to anyone. they are too busy for any kind of customer service common sense.

This place looked really cute. We stayed at the Inn At Discovery Bay and ordered out from the Pickled Fish because it was so close. My husband and I both ordered the burger medium well and they were both burnt. The burger toppings were fresh and quality and it had a lot of potential. The fries tasted old and double fried. The Mac and cheese was decent but barely warm. The Caesar salad tasted and looked like a bare minimum salad package from the grocery store. I’m disappointed because I automatically tipped 20% on an order to go and the food wasn’t even hot. ☹️

I was able to eat here once on Monday after arriving at the hotel Sunday, but they were closed Tuesday and Wednesday (planned and was told on Saturday), then unexpectedly Thursday. I called a couple minutes after 5 p.m. today to put in a to-go order and was told that the manager said to have me call back in 30 minutes because they just opened and are really busy. THAT'S WILDLY STUPID.

If you like flavor don't go here. The burger had no seasoning on it and it said is was wagyu beef but the texture I have to think otherwise. The fries were supposed to be garlic and Parm but I could not taste either. Their ranch was gummy. We also got the fish and chips. The fish was okay flavor but taste was not good. Would not recommend. We tried to get dessert to make up for dinner and their German chocolate cake was flavorless. You could not tell it was supposed to be chocolate. The cake was dry and dense. Way too much frosting. The live music was so loud we could not even hear each other talk. Our service was wonderful though. Overall for the price we paid not even close to being worth it.

It was a mini vacation getaway. Beautiful view at the Pickled Fish. We toasted the sunset and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Our waitress was amazing! Thank you!

The service was great, we had a kind young woman. The view is lovely. The food was bad. The worst $100 we paid. We got our entries and barely touched them. The fish was either bland or had a foul taste/smell to it. Do not recommend.
