Took our family out to lunch and was welcomed in immediately. Staff was very kind. Had fun pirate themed activities for the kids and even eye patches. Food was great.

Yummy food and friendly, fast service. We enjoyed the seared ahi appetizer, house salad, fish and chips, with alcoholic and non-alcoholic IPAs. We will be back!!

Got ready to pay bill handed her40.00 cash tried to tell me she only had 20.00thought she was going to get more out of me ! funny thing it was behind tablet she brought to table how do you think it got there? Watch out for this waitress long curly hair no customer service either! This is to the manager who looks like he is rude and has no customer service look at his reviews he responds too!Excuse me but when she said I guess I will have to pay for part of your meal she said it several times , she was rude were you there .no so guess what you are taking her word!! She insisted to give her more money I know what I handed her 40.00 and guess what I have God in my life do you ?Small business that don't look at other side if this had happened to them they would feel the same way !!!

I have never eaten here and come multiple times a year to long Beach. This place had never seemed to be open. This time around we were very excited they were open! Parked and decided to check reviews.. omg. I will not be eating her due to the owners remarks back to most of the people reviewing her establishment. I'm kind of boggled that people can't speak their honest opinion without horrible comments back. Anyone who has eaten here deserves to speak their opinion without whiplash. Also it looks very unprofessional calling people children and down talking customers who paid to eat and drink there.

Didn't even stay to wait and eat. Waitress was incredibly rude. She asked, rudely what I wanted, looked at me like I was dumb to substitute the fries for their "cannon balls." No friendly service from the start! Even after waiting 5 - 10 minutes. She even yelled at a couple to go sit down! Unbelievable!

We discovered this “pirate bar” by chance while we were passing through. And on our second evening we were right back here. Fish and chips and the burgers are perfect. Large portions, great taste, fair prices. Everything freshly prepared.
If you dare, take one or even three oyster shots. Plus more than 10 different beers on tap. Finally, the super service should be mentioned. You can try beers before ordering and when my hot sauce ran out I suddenly had a new portion, for free.

8/30/24: Good beer/cider selection. Staff was attentive and friendly. Ordered a burger and cod fish and chips. Really good food.

Disappointed to see so much disposable though. Plates, utensils, and cups all disposable.

Went there Saturday for dinner. Been there before and loved it so went back. Well wow is the best description.. lady behind the counter was beyond rude, bacon burger came with no sauce so we paid the extra $2 for a little mayo and ketchup. Then the same lady was even ruder about us asking for the sauce and said no one wants sauce on their burger. Sad as we will not go back. Hope they find a new owner to step up the customer experience before they loose more regular folk

This is my favorite establishment to visit while we are in town. Great beer selection and super fun environment and decor. Don't listen to any reviews talking badly about the staff. They work hard and run a great place! We went 3 times during out stay and I can't wait to go back.

Kid-friendliness: Cute kids mail they even burned. A pirate stamp into the bun of the hotdog which I thought was super cute.

The girl that is working today on 7/13/2024 is terrible. She has given us the worst service that we have ever gotten. She is so rude with absolutely no customer service. We are in town to have a good time with our little family and she has gotten all of us in a terrible mood as soon as we walked in. Do not recommend.

Save yourself the trouble and do not order the fish tacos, they’re disgusting! I don’t know how shredded cabbage can labeled as kimchi or what type of bottom feeding blend of fish slough they use but it’s disgusting!

Wow what a great place to eat, we had the clam chowder and fish and chips. The owner Brian came out to make sure everything was good, and it was. YUMMY.
The prices were nice to see when everything is so expensive.
Also with multiple ownership of busines's, he has this restaurant (World's End) is up for sale, hope the new owners keep up the great prices and good food.
