This place is great! It can get a little rowdy on the weekends but they have the best steak from a bar I've ever encountered!

Worst . French dip I have ever had in my life.
When people come to a restaurant they don't want to eat cheap lunch meat on their sandwich we can get that at home. And your fries were absolutely disgusting. First time I took my friend there she was not impressed... Thanks a lot. We will not be going back.
Maybe you should sell it back to Jackie and Don....🤮

Nice local gar. Feels like home

We Went here a few days back with a group of gentlemen had a great time WE WILL BE BACK. Beautiful redhead serving us very sweet funny attentive and charming great at her job had us geezers laughing constantly. Had her recommendations for food and drinks and left fat and happy. 10/10

My husband came in for a drink and sat for over 10 minutes waiting for the male bartender in tats to serve him without doing so. It seemed like all he was worried about was hanging out with his friends at the bar.

Can’t believe what I saw tonight. A Hispanic man was racially profiled and attacked by two young white men at the silver star. One of them even attacked him with a bottle! Hit him directly in the face!

What’s even more shocking is that the bouncer and bar tenders didn’t call the police! Not surprised, as the silver star has never been friendly to minorities, ask anyone who’s been.

I remember years ago the bouncer used to get the “hook up” ❄️ for drunk patrons too.

I’m Shocked this place stays in business.

The good was great, atmosphere also great, the bartender server didn't seem like he could really be bothered with us. He did check on us but the drinks he brought out were gross and it was dead in there, Mayne 4 people max altogether. I have had great experiences in the past with this place, but the last two times I've come in the service had just been awful.

Amazing food fast and friendly service.

Not the same place as it was when J&D owned it but the food still is good. Wait staff seem to cater to the regulars and young guys, loads of flirting and forgetting the others are there to eat and have a nice relaxing cocktail.

Very nice place . I ordered a rueben. The bread was burned but I dislike sending things back. It was just okay but not with the price. It took forever to get service..
