Was here on a Friday evening and it was quiet, a few other tables occupied. Lovely little outdoor patio, perfect place to enjoy dinner as the sun sets. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive. The soup of the day was excellent, as were the fish and chips. So glad we chose this place, it did not disappoint!

Nice place to visit. Good food at reasonable prices.

A bit pricey for the portion size but the food was good.

Pros:Food was great! Our server was kind. Nice patio area to eat outdoors.Cons:So while I can understand the stress put on a small place like this on a holiday weekend like 4th of July, and the difficulty in hiring enough people to cover the place (I am a former chef and business owner), I witnessed the owner being very rude with a customer when she had a complaint about the hostess being a bit short with her and not providing appropriate directions so people could find the bathroom (Which was not in a spot easily found unless you ask). The owner rolled her eyes at the customer and was very flippant with her.The appropriate customer oriented response if she wanted repeat business and good reviews, would have been: "Im so sorry you had that experience, we are just not use to this volume of people, but I will be sure to address your concern with our staff so it does not happen again".Considering the volume of business being done on Monday the 5th right after 4th of July, you would think the owner could be more appreciative that her resturant was booming!

Great food and a great deck. It was so busy when we ate today but we didn’t mind the wait since the weather was beautiful. The tacos and crab cake burger were awesome. Our server was sweet and helpful and even took the time to talk with us about the ferries and ferry reservation system. We’ll be back

The food was pretty good, but the staff seem to hate their jobs. No greetings or pleasantries. Simple questions ('Can I get some utensils for my takeout?') were met with a rude "What?!" as if we were an annoyance. This is not what you want to encounter on a vacation on 'the friendly islnd'. The only reason we ended up here was because every other restaurant on Lopez is closed on Thursdays. Even then I wouldn't return.

Very slow service. Food was good. The owner was rude when answering a question about the lack of service by the servers.

We had a large dinner party out on the deck tonight. It was a fun atmosphere, the staff were all friendly and efficient, and our food was wonderful!

Service was definitely slow, not rude, though. It just took quite awhile to be acknowledged. Now, the food? Definitely just mediocre. Fish tacos definitely didn’t taste fresh. Burgers were underwhelming at best. For the price, you’d be better off going down the road to the Islander.

Great place for burgers and fish and chips, I got a salmon caesar and thoroughly enjoyed it, it was a huge piece of salmon for the price. Our server was bubbly, kind and made for a great experience. The dog friendly deck outback was such a great spot with a nice view. I highly recommend this place.

Probably the best fries and burgers on island

Both the food and service at Bucky’s were great! We visited Lopez over Memorial Day weekend and ended up eating here both nights during our stay. Even though it was a very busy holiday weekend, they took great care of our group both nights. We will definitely return!

We had a nice lunch out on the deck, sitting with our dog. When we were there the village was practically deserted as there was smoke throughout the west due to all the wildfires. Plus it was off-season. Bucky's was pretty much the only place open on the whole island. Our waitress was friendly. She wore a mask. However, she did not give us much time to put our masks on when she came over. She did not seem concerned. Our food came quickly. I had the crab sandwich, which was ok. There wasn't that much filling. It was mostly bread. Others in our small group had fish and chips. They said their meals were pretty good. The best part was enjoying the view from the deck. This place did not blow us away, but it was fine for one meal.
