Came here to try some ice cream. There was a power outage the night before, but I will tell you the ice cream which is from Lopez Island Creamery did not look that appealing and I don't think the outage would have changed anything. Didn't actually try the fudge but the appearance looked great and lots of selection. The ice cream selection was limited as half of this case was empty. They have a cute little gift shop in there. I was slightly annoyed as we just wanted to pay for our ice cream but a lady buying gifts kept chatting for 10 minutes at the register before we were able to pay and leave.

First off, you would think a business like this would cater to the tourists who are vital to the small businesses on Lopez. The hours of operation are not consistent and when they are open, the staff is a journey in how not to deliver a delightful customer experience. It seems as if this business doesn't want customers based on their lack of customer service abilities. If their fudge was a game changer, I would be able to tolerate their rude behavior. Unfortunately, I've had better fudge that wasn't as dried up and as stale tasting as theirs.

Very friendly staff and lots of delicious fudge options, we got the raspberry chocolate fudge and it was great! Definitely stop in when you're on the island!

My husband and I are both literally dancing in the kitchen with our mouths full of dark chocolate fudge- arms in the air- man this is so so good! Thank you so much for the free shipping you guys offered. I am so glad we were patient with our order and had faith that it would get here- this fudge is quite the blessing, which makes sense because it’s just HEAVENLY!!! After waiting through the long Covid pause after the Colbert review and the reopening of businesses, I received a notification that I could place an order. It was easy, delivery was quick and easy, and the fudge is delicious, smooth, creamy, and intensely flavorful. I put some thin slices out after a formal dinner party with coffee, and they were gone long before the pastries. Just ordered the fall assortment! Freezing works well, too.

Last day for cones, so bought pints of Lopez island creamery ice cream instead. It had been thawed and refrozen so it was gritty and crystallized. The Fudge Factory was VERY RESPONSIVE about making this right. Next time I'm on the island, I plan to give it another try.
Ordered 1.5 lbs of fudge and they delivered 2.0 lbs (on purpose)... I expected the fudge to be your standard beachfront mom and pop store fudge, but it's not... It really is Heavenly, so much so that I'm sure it's a bit devilish also. The Praline and Cream fudge I expected to be over the top sweet, but it was a perfect balance of sweet and smooth.Only warning is that you'll need to make sure you pace yourself or you'll eat all your fudge in one sitting and only feeling bad that you don't have more fudge...Can someone get the Medal of Freedom for fudge? If so this should be a front runner!

Like many of you, I first learned of this place on Stephen Colbert, and waited months for them to catch up on their backlog of orders. Got my order yesterday and was surprised to discover the arm's length list of ingredients on the fudge. Margarine, hydrogenated palm oil, mono and diglycerides etc etc etc. I'm no paragon of virtue with my eating habits, but I thought I was getting some local handmade treat, not some plastic "fudge", and never would have ordered had I known the actual ingredients.

We learned about Heavenly Fudge from Colbert. Our first order was for a variety selection. So we have picked a favorite and just received delivery of our second order - dark chocolate. Wow. Tis good. We keep it in the fridge until ready to slice and serve. Thank you for the warm weather note included in our order.

They've gone full mask enforcement. So if a mask is your religious symbol, you're among friends here, but if you walked a mile to get ice cream with the kids and don't keep a gross reused mask safety pined to your kids...too bad. P.S. our visit predates the counties pointless ineffective mandate on 13 Aug, thus they let their political beliefs in the Dumbo feather of masking interfere with their business when they let their staff enforce their clearly political belief in masking, which can be clearly proven ineffective. It was not an order at the time. Let us know when your store is apolitical and we'd love to come back, from what I saw, it at least looked nice

We heard from a friend who lives on Lopez that we should try the fudge. While in the store I overheard another customer say that she has a friend who is turning 70 and this is her favorite fudge so she had to buy her some. We found it very rich with a great texture.
