Move to Lynden a couple of months ago and have been here a few times and I think tonight was my last visit. The fish quality is average at best had to send hamachi back in the owner told me it was fresh,it was not. We are today seaweed salad that was a tiny bit of seaweed salad on top of a whole bunch of radish and that was $9 a total rip off. The owner comes over to the table after giving us the menus and tells us everything on the menu is $1 more. Don't be lazy print a new menu for your folks so they know what the real prices are. Nice mom and pop couple here but just not a great option for sushi when there's so many better options in Vancouver or Bellingham. I do not think we'll be back there.

It’s a nice, quiet restaurant. Food was good and presented beautifully. The service was okay but was disappointed when I got the bill and everything was $1-$2 more than what appeared on the menu. It would have been nice if the server mentioned the prices prior to ordering the food or change the menu prior to changing the prices. Besides that, it’s a nice place and the Bento Box seems to be the best option if you want to try a little bit of everything.

It was our first time at Nami Asian Bistro and we enjoyed it! The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice with beautiful decor and the restaurant was clean. The two of us got two rolls of sushi and an order of calamari which was delicious and filled us up. I will be gladly going again soon!
Our group made a large phone order to celebrate a professional milestone. We decided to try calling ahead even though they weren't open and to our surprise they answered. We put in the order and picked it up a little after opening without a hitch. The order was accurate and delicious. (And beautiful). Every one in the group kept saying nami has the best sushi in whatcom, and they are right.

Picked up an order of 2 bento boxes and was very disappointed to drive all the way home and find out no miso soup. It's supposed to come with soup. I called right away to them answering the phone sorry were closed. I said we didn't get our soup and they said sorry we ran out. I said no one told me that when I ordered or when I picked up. They said sorry but made no attempt at rectifying the situation. Very disappointing.
