Strip mall restaurant. Clean and tidy.
Giant portions. Fresh cooked. Spicy or not spicy options. The Afra is lemony and grilled perfectly. Not fast food and the wait is worth it.

Continue to let down drivers who get paid 5 to 6$ to drive 5 to 8 miles. All you have to do is change the time sitting on the app so drivers can arrive when it's ready, but you choose to waste drivers' time to make us suffer, for the food thats not ours. Which we end up complaining to the customer and the app the app and customers turn around not buying from you and not recommend. All restaurants around have better wait time than. Worst African food experience, thanks for nothing

I had plantains, afraid chicken and jollof. The food was well presented, fresh and delicious !
Cozy atmosphere. Not much seating space for big groups, but their packaging for takeout is great!!

I had to cancel my order because the restaurant ran out of food. My third time coming to this joint and they either do not have food or have not started cooking. There is no baobab, ginger, or hibiscus juice. No jollof on the side or the ability to include jollof with afra. Dijah's and Heritage are better options by far.

I only have purchased their food through Uber Eats which will deliver to our home. So I can not rate service or atmosphere. I can say we love each and every dish we have tried. Even their plain rice is great. Jollof any and all versions....simply excellent. Fried fish, Plantains, Peanut Butter stew, Yassa Chicken are great on their own or with plain rice. Afra Lamb and Afra Chicken are yummy grilled dishes with lovely grilled onions in a touch of some sort of Heavenly sauce. And this may sound odd but one of my favorite things is the small side of fried onions and pepper sauce that accompanies the plantains.
I hope they read this because my suggestion is for them to make that stuff in batches and sell it in jars.. it is delicious in everything!
Try this restaurant's food. I think you will like it. I highly recommend.

The food is delicious. Staff are working hard, but just be prepared - the wait is long (45-60 min on Saturday night)

If you have time, I suggest you call in your order. I figured ordering something simple as soup and a veggie rice plate would be quick but no it wasn't. I had to wait 30 minutes. There was a family of 4 there that said they were waiting for an hour for their food! Aside from that, the customer service was great and the food wasn't too bad. I ordered the goat soup and veggie jolof rice plate. The soup came with rice which had I known, I wouldn't have ordered the veggie rice plate...but oh well.
The soup tasted great but was very spicy. So eating it with the Rice made it bearable. The veggie rice plate came with plantains, a piece of vegetable (I don't know what it was) and cabbage. The Rice didn't taste like it was cooked fresh, the plantains was hard and I didn't bother to taste the cabbage and vegetable. The amount of food they gave was alot though, so I ate it for 2 days so I wouldn't waste it 😆

My husband called to place an order around 5:35 he just got home at 8:00 because the person who took his order, never placed it. 2 hours to get his food. Terrible service.

Terrible place to eat. I called an hour ahead of time to place an order, then when I arrive to the restaurant they tell me it will be another hour for the food. Trash service and garbage food

I came all the way from Tacoma 1 hour drive to get food. It was worth it the food was so good and good size portions. I loved it. As a Senegalese I recommend this spot to all my west Africans brothers. Will be back for sure.

I usually order from here and sometimes they handles the remote orders correctly and sometimes not. This is the second time it is happening to me. Ordered some food 30 min before arriving and have to wait another 30 min before picking up my order. It is absolutely insane, they have to find a strategy to handled their call ahead orders. The food taste is great but the order process is worst. I might have to order from other Afro restaurants if this continues.

Came here to try African food for the first time and ordered a plate with fried plantains and some meat and rice. I remember tasting new flavors that made me very excited! Would come here again when visiting the area.
