Do not order the beef and broccoli, it tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Rubbery and stale. The noodles were not fresh either.

Great service and ambience. Chongqing Spicy Chicken is our favorite!

OMG! It was all delicious. We had honey sesame chicken, mixed meat chow mien, chicken fried rice, and spicy tofu with meat sauce plus crab wonton

We have been to this place several times during the past month and we really like it.

Atmosphere wise, its nothing special. To be honest, it is kind of blah...but I do not go to a restaurant for atmosphere. I go for good quality food. Best of Chengdu really hits a bullseye on that aspect.

The seafood hot pot is our favorite. The broth is amazing and the dish comes with plenty of different type of seafood. One order is enough for my wife and myself. We've have other good dishes as well.

Admittedly, the spicier entrees seem to be of a slightly higher quality. However, its not a hot for the sake of hot spiciness. It's just very flavorful and sets your mouth a tingle

The least enjoyable aspect is the service. It is family run and, you almost get the idea you are imposing on them. However, one must keep in mind small staff and it can get hectic so keep the lack of fawn on you customer service to heart.

Very reasonably priced which makes it all a great dining experience

I've supported this restaurant like other patrons in the area thru thick and thin. Location is excellent. Food quantity and quality are ok but the nail in the coffin was the last few times the service levels have completely dropped. I think a family runs the business. This last time a friend and I went for a lunch special on a weekday. We ordered the usual and food came out in the good amount of time. Our server (young fellow in the front w/ glasses) completely ignored us to offer the hot tea. He in fact took away the cups whereas i saw a hot tea pot on every other table. I thought maybe they are out of tea or something else. While we ate, a mother-daughter walked in to have lunch and even they were offered a choice of beverages or hot tea. Not sure why we were left out?

Then once the food was wrapped up, i asked our server for a to-go container that can hold my dish with curry. Last time i ordered the mapo tofu, by the time I reached home, the oil and curry had spilled out. So i reasoned with her to please get me a container with a lid. She rolled eyes and told me that's the only option she has and the other one is for soups. I continued to persist and gently asked again wherein she finally brought me one. When it came time to pay, i so wanted to not tip but chose to be a reasonable person and left a handsome tip with telling myself 'not to go back there'. There are some really good Chinese options in Edmonds and Mukilteo. I'd rather just go there.

Food was amazing a mix of Americanized Chinese food and traditional Chinese dishes

I would strongly advise against ordering the Mongolian beef. I had it delivered via Uber Eats, and unfortunately, it tasted more like a dessert than a savory dish—overly sweet and not at all what I expected. I could only manage a few bites before giving up. I tried calling the restaurant the next day to share my feedback and see if they could make it right, but was disappointed to be hung up on when I raised my concern.

Food tastes great. A bit salty/greasy, but with enough rice it's perfect.

Real authentic, good Chinese food. I got the lunch special for $10 and it came with Mongolian beef, choice of soup (hot and sour or egg drop), and fried rice. I also got the Chongqing chicken and Dry Pot to try them out. It came out to $50 and it was enough for to feed 4 people for lunch and dinner.

It's not the just portions or price that make this place great. The food tastes amazing too. Everything was fresh and was well seasoned. The Chongqing fried chicken was crispy. The Dry Pot had good mala flavor.

That being said, this is not a place to have a nice date. It's a hole in the wall Chinese food place so don't expect a fancy atmosphere.

It's becoming harder to find places like this. Sometimes you just need to go back to the basics and make some great tasting food that isn't overpriced. This restaurant does that well.

This is our go-to place for Chinese takeout. The majority of the dishes taste good and you won’t encounter any unpleasant surprises even ordering blindly. However, As someone who lived in Sichuan for several years, I would say that this place is definitely not authentic. The food is obviously Americanized, but still, taste good. Authenticity is much less of a concern especially in North Seattle.

I’ve been here multiple times, everything was great. But this time the new staff at front desk was pretty rude, didn’t respond or even look at me after I paid and said “thank you”, not sure I wanna be back again for that attitude.
