Chef Dane catered a cruise on Puget Sound Express “Chilkat.” The food was delicious. There was a nice selection. My guests made a point to tell me how much they enjoyed the food. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They even brought boxes so we could take the leftovers home. However, there were not a lot of leftovers as the food was just that good, and they had planned well. Beverage service was also spot on.

It was our first time planning a 150 person event so we relied on Chef Dane's suggestions for staffing, timing, and other areas and they were all spot on. The service and food were both excellent and we received many complements on those. They also worked well with the venue and made sure they met all requirements for clean up. Made contact 2 weeks before my event on-line. The receipient was very quick to respond and sent a proposed menu right off the bat.
I asked to see the entire menu but honestly what was proposed was just fine. We agreed on a price and the number of heads I was feeding I made a very minimal deposit which I thought was very generous on their part.
Shelby texed my the morning of my event to make sure I was still expecting her at our agreed upon time. I wanted to shift the time out 30mins, no problem she showed up on time with everything. I used the "Black Linen" service which included the decorations and linens as well as descriptions of the foods being served. There were 2 back fill trays put into the oven to ensure everyone had plenty of food. The food was as described, warm and delicious! And to tell you the truth there was WAAAYYYYY more food than I needed. The portions are extremely generous. Almst everyone took food home with them and Chef Dane even provided the to go boxes!!!!
I would totally recommend Chef Dane to friends and family and can't wait to work with Shelby again! Thanks for making me look so good and making it possible for me to serve 45 people in my home.
