My boyfriend and I come here maybe once a month or every two months, food is consistently delicious. Service is fantastic and they use a tablet order system. There is always the same dude working there when we go- always on top of his shit. Answering phones, checking people out, opening the door for guests when he can. Rose tteokbokki, Sam gyup sal, soft tofu stew are some of our favorites.

Let me tell you, Luis was absolutely tremendous. I’ve been to many restaurants, some of the best in the world people say I know good service, and believe me, this guy has it. Fast, polite, confident just great energy. He remembered everything, no notes (very impressive), and the food came out perfectly. Everyone at the table said, “Wow, this guy’s amazing!”
If every server worked like Luis, restaurants would be doing so much winning, you’d get tired of winning! Tremendous job, Luis.

Hands down the best Korean fried chicken I’ve had in the area!
I stopped by Dawa Lynwood on a friend’s recommendation, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff were super friendly and welcoming — they made me feel right at home. The place has a clean, cozy vibe with that perfect mix of casual and modern that makes you want to sit down and enjoy your food slowly.
Now, the chicken… absolutely incredible. Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside — it’s everything you want Korean fried chicken to be. You can tell they fry it fresh to order. I tried the soy garlic and the spicy gochujang flavors, and both were spot-on. The soy garlic had that sweet-savory balance that keeps you going back for more, and the spicy one had just the right kick without being overwhelming.
Their sides were great too — I got the pickled radish (super refreshing), some fries, and a cold beer. Everything complemented the chicken perfectly. It’s the kind of meal that makes you stop talking for a minute because you just want to enjoy every bite.
What I really love about Dawa Lynwood is that it feels authentic but still approachable. You can tell they put care into everything — from the seasoning to the service. I’ve been back a few times already, and the quality is always consistent.
If you’re craving Korean fried chicken or just want something that hits that comfort-food sweet spot, Dawa Lynwood is the place. Totally worth the drive, and definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

Arrived around 9:00. At first very few were seated but sometime after 8-10 people walked in. Not much to view from the outside that would draw you in but the food lived up to the reviews. Eclectic interior. Food is legit. Order system from table. Served piping hot. Friendly follow ups but not bothersome. Friendly staff.
Would recommend if you’re in the area.

Pretty good food most of the time. Today I ordered take out. Got home and started eating the chicken, pulled 2 long black hairs out of my mouth. I'm bald so I know it's not mine. First time that's happened in the 3 years I've been eating here. Gross.

Called to order to-go and asked for Bossam (pork napa wraps) the guy on the phone was rude with his response, “We don’t have that.” I was confused and was asking “Are they on the menu as pork Napa wraps?” He immediately interrupts me and says “We haven’t had that on our menu in over a year” and then hung up on me mid-sentence.
When you look at the website with their full updated 2025 menu, the item is on there.
Either train your employees to be more respectful and knowledgeable about your menu, or at the very least- actually provide an updated menu online??
I called Kochi Pocha (restaurant next door) they were so so so much friendlier right off the bat AND had bossam.
Recommending everyone go next door to Kochi Pocha for better service instead.
