Pretty good quality food for a conveyer belt sushi place. Very easy to order stuff with robots. One thing though- for the check in, the system only allows you to pick either bar or table options, not both (for people who don't mind either). We chose the bar seats thinking it would be faster, and we had to sit 35+ min as everyone who came after us got seated and more. When I asked the waitress, she said I could switch to tables, but I needed to check in again and be in line again?? Haha made no sense. I think they need to just have everyone check in in one queue. If they don't change this, I would recommend people to choose table options since they have way more tables than bar seats. Otherwise, usually the employees are friendly and it's a good dining experience.

Today was my first time in with a recommendation from a friend. I came by myself and had no idea how the operations of this restaurant work. I asked a couple employees and they were very willing to help me through the system. They seated me at a bar seating in front of the conveyor belt. And explain to me with the overhead screen that I could order drinks and menu items from and I could also just take the small plates off the conveyor belt in front of me. When you are finished with your sushi plates you slide them in the opening just in front of you. You are charged individually for each plate. The other dishes you might accumulate you just leave on your table and they come by to pick them up. If you need Wasabi or anything extra I just had to ask. The sushi was very fresh and clean and nicely presented and easily recognized from the markings on the dishes with the names. There was a huge selection to choose from. Even a couple sides and cheesecake for dessert. You have fresh ginger and soy at your seat. The guard over the conveyor belt is just at the right height so you don't have to look at everyone else and then not looking at you. Also Fu Robots that roam around the restaurant not quite sure their responsibilities but they were fun to watch. I also ordered Ramen which came on a separate larger conveyor belt above and out of the way of the sushi bar. Being in a strip mall parking lot there is an extreme amount of parking and is easily accessed across from the Alderwood mall. I will definitely be back with friends and family more often. The sushi was a good price. The ramen is in a very small bowl so don't expect it to be a meal, but it tastes great. Definitely seems like a place you can bring behaved children.

Downloaded the app to make a reservation, which helped get us a table in time. There was quite a line of people outside waiting, so it helped.
The robot bringing water is cute. There is an upper belt that brings ordered food, and the lower belt is constantly revolving delicious options too.
Kids really enjoyed it.

We stopped in here for the first time today. This was an experience. I am not a sushi eater but was able to find chicken and fries. This is where I am very mixed on how to review. The fries were probably some of the best that I have had in my life! For that alone I really want to give more than 5 stars.
But, then the chicken factors in. The serving was a good size. That's about the best I can say about the chicken. The pieces were grisly and chewy while the batter on the outside was so salty it was almost inedible.
Meanwhile, those in the party who had sushi were very pleased with everything that they ate. They had sushi with dishes with shrimp, crab, octopus, beef veggies and a few others. All was devoured and there were no complaints.
Oh, and the robot who brought the drinks, he's adorable.

My first experience at Kura sushi was wonderful. Staff are friendly and polite. Especially, Anjou was very helpful and made me comfortable. Lots of different kinds of sushi were constantly coming. Scallop, octopus and salmon belly were delicious. I’d like to come back again soon. Love it!
