Got the chicken bento. Price and portions were good but the chicken and veggies were very bland. Thinking back, maybe they forgot to add the teriyaki sauce? Very disappointed either way.

This man serving samples is starting at every girl's ass that walks by. He isn't even offering the samples. I even noticed him look at a couple of what looked to be 12 or 13 year old girls.Owner of Sarku Japan at Alderwood mall: fire this man for being an inneficient use of your time and money.I have 100% seen everyone else actually offering samples and trying to get customers' attention. This man isn't trying and he is using his position of standing out on the crowd to sexualize almost every single woman. He's got a creepy smile that is very counterproductive to your environment and sales. This is not a comfortable environment with him working here. Luckily its a big mall and I'm able to go far away but I surely will NOT walk in front of him to exit.

Food tastes "Off". Something very unnatural about it. I cook chicken daily and there's something really fake with about theirs. The vegetables are over fried, the rice watery and overcooked, and the teriyaki sauce is just weird. Will never eat here again.

Was at the mall and couldn't decide this place or Thai Go.... I ended up here.Ordered the chicken teriyaki bento. Teriyaki chicken, 3 gyozas and, and 4 finger sizes of a California roll.I forgot that I was here weeks ago and ordered the same thing. Meh. You couldn't tell this was teriyaki chicken, it was chicken in some kind of non flavored sauce. The veggies that came with it though were cooked fine. Soy sauce did it all some good. The California roll pieces were extremely small. The gyozas were ok.Last time the meal came in a cute "bento" tray. Today was your typical white take out container. This is from a mall food court, was $11.09 (before tax, odd price?). Guess I shouldn't expect too much! Will I try this again? I don't know. Maybe if I forget again that I've already tried it. Hopefully next time I'll go to Thai Go.... or even Panda Express, where I think everything is one of 2 flavors, sweet and sour, or salt & pepper. But I'll wait till I actually eat at the one in the mall to review that one.

This chicken teriyaki is different from your regular spot in Washington. It’s perfectly oily and not too sweet. My favorite teriyaki I’ve ever had. Good portions.

I had an option to pick Sarku Japan or Panda express; opted for Sarku. Wanted to try their Bento box, but they ran out of it. So went with the Teriyaki bowl - comes with Chicken Teriyaki, grilled vegetables and rice. Service is ok. Good thing about the Chicken Teriyaki is the grilled veggies with it. Super good. Teriyaki chicken is ok, not the best. Goes well with the sticky rice they served. But it could have been much better. After all, it's just a shopping mall food court!

This is my favorite go to spot in the mall food court. I love how it's cooked to order and fresh. I always get the chicken. It comes with rice and steamed vegetables. I love how the veggies are green, not over cooked, and compliments the meal as a nice side. It's not like the sweet teriyaki joints, because this chicken is more on the savory side.

This place has been around for a long time. I remember coming here as a kid 15 years ago and they always give out free samples of the meat. The chicken teriyaki is unlike any other place I've tried and it's perfectly oily and sweet. Also, I got a really good buy one get one free deal on Uber Eats and it was full portions! Recommend this place.

I usually get chicken teriyaki which is really good for a mall food. After the last take out, I had worst experience of my life. Ordered chicken teriyaki with extra chicken. But they gave chicken + shrimp combo and I am allergic to shrimp and shellfish. I had two bites without realizing it and immediately got swellings all over the place. Had to go to Emergency room. In fact all four boxes had the chicken + shrimp combo (all four should had been just Chicken). Someone's carelessness in packing a simple take out, can be a life threatening experience for others. Hopefully they don't repeat this in feature.Dietary restrictions: They were careless about items in the order. Included shrimp in chicken teriyaki.

Fast, and courteous service. Huge portions of freshly cooked food. Reasonable prices. Bento box is a good deal and comes with cali rolls and fried dumplings, in addition to the rice, veggies and protein. Perfect for a hungry person, or perfect to split between two people. IMO, Sarku offers healthier options than the rest of the food court. Definitely recommended.
