Every time I come here, I know I’m going to be disappointed. Their food should be good. But somehow they manage to screw it up.

Today I grabbed a drive thru order because all of the times I’ve dined in, it’s been loud and chaotic and frustrating. Their dining room is designed to get you out as quickly as possible and is too small to be comfortable with all of the people who dine here. So I went through the drive thru. More like a 2.5. Better quality fast food at sit-down burger joint prices. 2 burgers, a fry and 2 shakes at these small sizes and medium quality should not be $45 on any planet. Made the mistake of eating there on a Sunday around late lunch time so waited 25 minutes for our food too.

At least everything was made together (burgers and fry were hot, shakes still cold and frozen), and the taste was solid. But wait time and value are nowhere close to what they should...

I wanted to grab some dinner on the way home from meeting a client, so I stopped to try out the Shake Shack! I decided to go inside to have additional time to check out the menu and see the inside. There is good seating and a self-serve ordering system for those who choose to use it. It was pretty easy and gave descriptions of items. I ordered the Black Truffle Burger with bacon and cheese fries and a creamsicle float. All were delicious!
