Shari's Cafe and Pies

Maybe 15 years since the last time I went to a Shari's not to many shari's around. Went for pancakes

The pie crust is light and devine. I should be trying the rest of the menu, however I'm stuck on ordering a slice of the hot fruit pies Ala mode with a cup of coffee. My bad!

Went with a friend for late lunch. The place was pretty deserted. I had their signature cheeseburger and it was delicious, my friend had the quesadilla and loved every bite of it. It was Tuesday so we each got a free slice of pie which was an added bonus. The server was great and my only complaint would be that the coffee was not so good And that they were out of banana cream pie.

Had a great meal for a good price, rare that my husband's bacon comes out to his liking but they nailed it without being told what he wanted.

I live out of state and being able to get the entire family together can be challenging. We chose Shari’s for this gathering because we are always happy with the food. However, this visit stood out because of our server, Stephane’s patience! Due to family schedules, it was literally over an hour before our entire family showed up! Once everyone arrived she was right there taking our orders and making sure we had everything we needed. She even took a family photo for us since we all hadn’t seen each other since October.

Had the breakfast. The hasbrowns were cold. Asked for water to ask again when we got the food. The wait staff were rude.

As a regular, I can't complain. Food is simple and good fair. Service is great, staff us super friendly. Place could use a bit of an upgrade it is a bit run down... but if you want a good solid eggs and bacon.. your in luck.

Stopped by there for a quick breakfast. They made us wait 40 mins and when I told the waitress maybe you should’ve mentioned that there’s going to be a long wait at the beginning she got mad and said I’m not the cook! How about an apology first and then explain the situation like you’re short staffed and we could totally understand that.As a waitress,if you are not aware of the kitchen’s situation and the significant wait time ,then what else can we expect from you?We had no choice ,but to leave and eat somewhere else.So disappointing

Aside from sweet pies which will satisfy your sweet tooth, this cafe has comfort food galore, inexpensive sides and soups, a whole variety of beverages and drinks. Service is traditionally slower in a family oriented restaurant like this one.

The Denver Omelet was good, but they didn't have all the ingredients. The hashbrowns were perfectly cooked to our liking, crispy on the outside, golden brown. Yummy! Unfortunately, the chocolate cream pie was not yummy. The cream was stale and crusty, The waiter looked pretty sketchy and not professional at all. The floor (carpet) was sticky. Ergoe, that's probably why the lack of customers.

Update. Came in this evening for pie and hot chocolate. Hesitated to stay and order food because of how filthy it looked. The floor is an ancient carpet that looks like it's never been cleaned! Always love the pies. We come for dessert and have been to several different locations. Consistently good pies.

I love Shari's food and service. The booth was showing a lot of wear and tear.

Parking: Lots of space to park.
