Been visiting for months, and each time there are new beers to try. Lots of beer variety and places to sit. Also, there are coolers and shelves with beer, cider and wine. Viewing them is a veritable trip around the world. If it’s a rare beverage and you want it, stop by. The staff are engaging, but if you want privacy, they respect you. This place is accepting of all people, which is nice. Worth a trip.
The beer is decent but the atmosphere could be better. Walked in around noon and folks at the bar were playing a game and the barkeep was involved. I didn’t care for that impression when I walked in. Has a neighborhood feel to it which is not always the most welcoming to non regulars but I have seen it work OK elsewhere and got beyond that. One hole toilet in the back is clean but only 1 in a bar is subpar. Barkeep knew his beers but what I like is coffee and chocolate tones in a dark beer had 1 option. I like the alcohol content listed on the board so you can do the trade offs. The bar height tables are small and the stools are not that comfortable for me. Go here for decent beer choices and take out specialty beers but not much else.
Great selection!
Great place for beers on tap and a huge selection of cans to go or for there. Awesome people that work there are helpful and knowledgeable.
Great selection of beer and some good ones on tap, but $20 for a 4 pack is a bit ridiculous when they can be had for $12-$15 elsewhere.
Thanks for trying to justify your prices, but the math is simple. A 4 pack of Stoup is $20, if I buy them individually they're $5 each, still $20. $13.99 at Town and Country as well as Whole Foods. Thank you for your reply...
Great selection and knowledgeable staff!
Still my favorite craft beer spot in the Seattle area.
Wide selection of interesting beer.
Fantastic experience. Great bar. Very chill owner. Jake and Dan are the best. Cheers guys 🍻
Special Brews is a gem for beer enthusiasts! This bottle/taproom offers an impressive selection of beers to either take home or enjoy in their cozy sit-down area. The variety on tap is fantastic, and there's always something new and exciting to try.
One thing to note is the $2 corking fee for drinking a can in the bar area, but with the incredible selection available, it's a small price to pay. The bartenders here are super nice and always ready to help you find the perfect beer.
I'll definitely be back to explore more of their offerings and take some home as well. If you're in Lynnwood and love beer, Special Brews is a must-visit!

I buy a beers the price says $4.29 on the freezer but the guy charged me $4.59 I told him you charge me extra but he told me I can’t change the price on the system
Excellent assortment of beer from around the country and world.
Great brews on draft and in the bottles. A lot of hard to find stuff.Wednesday usually is a brewer's night where they are allowed to take over the taps and you can try some of their more rare brews.
Great beer selection and great people.
Without a doubt the best beer bar for miles in any direction. 22 taps, a cask engine, and over 1,000 bottles on the shelves. You can crack any bottle or can to drink here, and you can get a crowler or growler fill of most any tap, usually.
They have a couple dozen each of wines, ciders, and meads, too. Friendly staff with a hardcore group of dozens of regulars who've been coming in for 10 years or more. New faces are always welcome, though you might have to take some time and chat with folks to find the groove.
They're great about offering suggestions for stuff to try (or help you gift shop). Yes, they routinely stock Russian River stuff, including Pliny.
