We reserved Split Open and Melt food truck for our 50th class reunion yesterday. Boy were we happy!! The Philly cheese steak sandwiches are tasty and top notch. The loaded cheese steak fries were awesome! My favorite was the Spicy cheese steak with jalapenos and habanero aioli. Very organized and quick service. The beepers when your order is ready was a plus. Highly recommend.

I just had their spicy Philly Cheesesteakā¦ yum. The meat was tender, juicy and full of flavor. The helping was ample and more than enough to eat in one sitting. Thank you Split Open and Melt! Split Open and Melt is my favorite truck in the area. Super friendly and awesome staff, amazing food, all at a competitive price. The Split open and melt is to die for, pro tip - ask for the spicy sauce! Great quality ingredients that really make the sandwich shine. Also can't go wrong with a side of fries. Might want to share them with a friend because portions are healthy. Would highly recommend this truck to any friends or family. It is a hidden gem of the area.

What an amazing Philly Sandwich! The flavor was awesome and it was freshly made. The meat and cheese with onions was one of the best Philly Sandwiches I've ever had. We had them in Kenmore outside of a brew pub. Great Food truck!

I came across this food truck in Everett and thought I'd give it a try. The flavors were good. I had the split open and melt philly. Unfortunately, the sandwich was a little dry and it seemed like there was a lot of bread for the amount of stuff inside it. They serve their sandwiches on a Ciabatta bun that's about a foot long but it seems like they could make a much better sandwich if they put the same fixings on a bun half or slightly more than half the size. And for the price they are asking ($17), I'll probably pass next time.
Caught this truck at At Large brewing in Everett. Had the spicy sandwich on the menu and it was everything you could want. Bread was soft and fluffy, meat was perfectly charred and flavorful, there was a good amount of spice, and they were able to sub out vegan cheese for one of us who can't do dairy. We also had the garlic fries, a small fry is plenty to share whether you split a sandwich or get your own. They also have a vegetarian sandwich option! Highly recommend.
