Both the food and my Thai tea were pretty good, but I wouldn't say it was the best banh mi I've ever had. The restaurant is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. Much of the interior is visibly dirty. The young woman that took our order and gave us our food was kind and friendly, but she seemed to be doing the brunt of the work around the restaurant in regards to cleaning and customer interaction despite there being several other employees around. Off-the-hook banh-mi sandwiches - can’t go wrong. Bar none, the best, most consistent, and best-priced banh-mi’s we’ve had in the area. Crispy fresh bread, soft on the inside, not unlike a perfect French baguette. Perfect blend of lettuce/fixings, jalapeño’s (they ask if you want them or not), and meat. Great first time at Yeh Yeh’s — I got the special which was a Philly bahn mi with a side of pho broth for dipping. Pho-rench dip. Excellent service, fresh bread, tender steak, flavorful broth with a super nice hit of star anise/cinnamon. Excited to try the beef stew and the pork next time.
