“Rootwood Cider is a must-stop when you’re in the Lake Chelan area! The cider is always fantastic, and the staff is warm and welcoming.

We love the outdoor seating; it’s comfortable, relaxed, and never too loud. You can even reserve a sheltered table in advance, which is a great option. Our favorite ciders are the Harrison, Rosé, and Lake Effect, all super flavorful and well-crafted. The Buzzing Bee cider cocktail was also a standout!

Whether you’re passing through or spending time in Manson, it's always worth a visit.”

“We have been coming to this place for 15 years! We always make sure to stop by when we are in Chelan and look forward to it every year. We love their quesadillas. They moved a few days ago to behind the grocery store.”

“Love this place! We go every morning for coffee when we’re in Manson. It’s a great place to sit and relax and the barista is fantastic! We also love their pizza, wings and wine in the evenings.”

“I worked here for about 3 summers. They are terrible to their employees and refused to let me treat a 2nd degree burn on my arm and made me continue to work even though I almost passed out from the pain. I still have the scar 1.5 years later, to this day it was still the worst pain ive experienced. Their responce was not to tell me about workers comp or to report my injury and not even put a first aid kit in the shop. They never wear gloves when touching your food which is very illigal and unsanitary. No one washes their hands when required to. The toilet room is the store room with open containers of supplies so all their supplies are covered in actual shit.”

Amazing wine, great food and such a wonderful staff! Tod and all his employees a very special people and the atmosphere is so special there! We just can’t wait to go play there again, don’t forget to get yourself A bottle of wine and something to eat,the Panini and tomato bisque was off the hook! Thanks Tod For having us out and training is so special.”

“We call this place the “snack shack” and it’s much improved over the tiny building it was 4 or so years ago. We love the French Fries and the Hawaiian Ice. Not a lot of people know this but the Hawaiian Ice here is flown in fresh from Hawaii every day (never frozen)! Can’t beat that. Only knock on this place is the staff sometimes forgets to turn on the lake heater when they leave for the night. You can really tell when they forget! Atmosphere is great, a beach on Lake Chelan!

Kid-friendliness: Ice cream, shakes, burgers, fries, soda pop, Hawaiian Ice…this place is all about the kids.”

“I have stopped at your store numerous times. Today. Oct 5th your sandwich maker, first of all got 1/2 of our order wrong & had a little attitude about correcting his error. The sandwiches that we got had so much dressing & mayo that the bread was soggy. I'm not even sure if he charged us correctly. Maybe he's new & needs more training on how to treat customers & attitude changes. I will be back but please talk with your employee.”

“The team was very welcoming when I inquired a out the menu yesterday after the parade and then again today. I was recognized and we had a great Mother's day dinner. There was a performance and they made my Chai Masala not sweet, just like I ask. the chicken in our curry was tender and the rice was beautiful.”

But after the constant paying through the nose everywhere you go, you get pure value here.
An enormous sandwich, two pieces of pie and a latte for $22. Amazing. Everything was delicious, staff was friendly and the ambiance was pure charm. Keep it up!”

“Amazing!! The ambience is welcoming and open. The outdoor seating was spacious and has umbrellas along with a mister to keep it cool. There are koi fish to look at while you wait for your table. The cider flight was delicious (it tasted just like apple juice which is dangerous!), the chef cheese plate was perfect and we added the prosciutto (which I think is a must). The Brie sandwich was perfect, I can’t remember what the sauce is but it was great. The apple salad went well with the wine and cider, but the salmon was a must add. The wait staff is super friendly and consistently checked on us. Overall 10/10!!”

“Even Keel Pizza is the best pizza in Chelan! Delicious sauce, abundant toppings, perfect crust, tons of variety, nicest owners and affordable. Order a pizza, sit in the bar and have a beer, eat your pizza there or take out. The bartender is fabulous and the setting is casual. It's a find in Chelan for sure.”

“Every time I have been to Marcela’s for dine-in or carry-out over the last 9.5 years, it has been consistently wonderful! The kind and attentive waiting staff, the vibrant atmosphere, & the delicious food offerings are top notch. The price for a large portion of food is great too—I can spilt a meal with another person, or take the other half home for another meal. Marcela’s, hands down is truly one of Chelan’s greatest restaurants.”
