Was told to visit Buddy’s if I was in the mood for a greasy but amazing burger and that’s exactly what I got. Not the place to go if you’re looking for “healthy” but the food was healthy for my soul. Went for lunch during the off season so the place seemed much quieter than it likely gets otherwise.

This used to be the spot. The original Buddy knew what he was doing. The new owner has ran it down. The cleanliness of the place should have it shut down. A couple decent employees. The young kid who cooks should be running the place.

I love buddies! They make an excellent dirty martini, and the burger and fries is such a good way to end a day. Their staff is friendly and so fun to chat with. And the food and drinks come out in a timely manner. I enjoy their special guests Whether that’s a DJ or karaoke nights. It’s a fun place to go for a date night or to bring friends who are visiting from out of town.
Came in for some drinks and had a seat at the bar. The bartender took a while to acknowledge us. We understood because it was a little busy. We got our first drinks, waited, waited, and waited even more. We were going to order a second round. We were trying to make eyes contact with her but she wouldn’t even acknowledge us. She continued to cater to the locals, play on her phone, and clean tables behind us. A half hour later we practically had to beg for our bill so we could leave and find some service elsewhere. Needless to say, we won’t be back…EVER! Too bad too because she still would have gotten a tip if she even would have acknowledged us.

I visited on July 5 around 12:30 PM, and unfortunately had a very uncomfortable experience. The woman working at the time was extremely rude to me. I had come in to pick up an order, and she immediately asked for my ID. I let her know I had left it in the car and that I was just picking up food. She responded by telling me I needed to leave and wait outside.
I’ve been here multiple times and have never been asked for ID when simply picking up an order—especially when no alcohol is involved. I’m not sure why I was treated so differently this time, but the way she spoke to me felt unnecessary and disrespectful. I left feeling really disappointed. I hope the staff can be reminded to treat everyone with kindness and consistency.

Food is good! Nice small town bar feel to it, Patio with the misters is nice on a warm day. Bartender is always on point! They have a pool table in the back, just a nice bar to unwind to after the days done.
