“My husband Jeff and I had such a great experience here!! The ciders were very tasty and all very different. Our favorite is the Golden Ghost! The ambiance was very relaxed and peaceful! Our two boys had a lot of fun playing in the grass area outside the tasting room. Reed was so friendly and he made us instant fans of Rootwood Cider Taproom! Thank you for the great hospitality!! We became members and have already came back for a return visit!”

“Barista working this morning was friendly, however the worker taking our order (dark hair, glasses) was NOT friendly at all and acted put out the entire time and shorted our punch card ; we have been getting our coffee from this stand for years and this was the first time we have ever received poor service.”

“Outstanding winery. Tasty buttery wines, staff that feels like family, and a great story behind it. You will have to stop in and ask. Excellent view from the outside deck, there is usually live music and check out the pizza oven from Napoli. A perk I especially like is that when you do a tasting you can keep the glass.”

“Been 2x's so far. had lunch 1st time. Burger Dip to be exact, an it was huge an very tasty. Brought home a Blueberry Swwet Roll for my Hubby. it was so enormous that 3 of us ate it. 2nd time took my Mother-in-law for breakfast. Again, huge an very tasty. We left with a Ditch Apple Pie. an a cookbook. The pie is amazing. Can't wait to go back.”

“Adorable coffee shop with indoor & outdoor seating. We came here twice in one weekend because two people in our group are gluten free and they offered GF bread for all breakfast options, as well as GF pastries! The coffee was phenomenal and the breakfast was delicious - we had the avocado toast, breakfast sandwiches and açaí bowl and everything was tasty. And the ladies working the counter were SO friendly, greeted us with smiles (not sure what they other reviews were about). “We had a 6:30 reservation. Our table was not quite ready so they found us a place to sit and enjoy a cocktail - Twin Engine highly recommended. Chef came to check on us and brought us a complementary appetizer (deviled eggs) - amazing! We had the grand marnier prawns also - yummy!! Great service, great food, great atmosphere!”

“Love a latte! Great coffee stop when travel US-97. Coffee is great, the pastries are delicious. Lost of sandwich options. Staff is friendly! This is also a great stop for alcohol and fresh fruit.”

“Located in the back left corner of the "mall" where River Walk bookstore is located. A quaint bar area with a nice patio upstairs to view the park and Chelan river from. There is good selection of draft ciders, including some harder to find English varieties in bottles. Ben is an attentive owner, knowledgeable cider maker, and personable guy. The pub features sports on a couple of big screen tvs, an old school game console in the "living room" loft, and occasionally hosts live music in a corner of the small space on weekends.”

“A great winery here in Lake Chelan. We were on Xmas eve for wine tasting with friends. Such a warm cozy wine tasting room. We got 2 whites and 3 reds as part of our tasting. The reds were amazing and especially they had a red blend which was my fav. I am not a fan of white wines in general but they had a nice crisp taste and I can see myself enjoying these during summer. We also enjoyed their seasonal mulled wine and it was a perfect drink for a winter evening. The host was very sweet and paced our tastings. “Loved local myths! Def a nice place to stop and eat and fill that empty gut. They splash you with a nice array of “pizza pizza” while having all the other Italian guilty pleasures if “pizza pizza” is not for your platter. It’s kind of a tight place so dare I suggest poppin in at a slightly different eat time so you can have a seat, or just pick up if you prefer. Both some beer and wine options and overall fair pricing, especially for an area with limited options on where to eat. I went bold this time off a recommendation and chose to get a personal Chicken Cordon Blue pizza, a tad bit off the norm but tasty indeed. This Mo Fo tasted as its name and the mustard drizzle on top added a yummers to eat bite. “We were doing a bachelorette party with a Taylor Swift theme which I put in the notes of our reservation and the staff had it playing when we walked in which was such a special touch. We did the bubble flights which were very generous pours. Sushi was also delicious and good portion size. Highly recommend as the flights are delicious, staff was amazing, and you are drinking wine in a bunker that looks nothing like a bunker. Also great for larger parties.”

“Off season is a great time to go have an amazing meal. The new chef is putting out some high quality stuff. We enjoyed one of the best Kale salads we've had in a long time. The meatballs and polenta are to die for and the gnocchi was top notch. For dessert a horchata Cream Brule. Everything was on point. We'll be back.”

“Very fresh tasting food. My wife had Encheladas Oaxaquenas, & I had the Mar y Tierra.The mole sauce in my wife's enchiladas had more smokey flavor than she cares for, but she still enjoyed them. My carne asada was perfect, & the shrimp & mushrooms had more flavor than I usually find at other restaurants.There was way more food than we could eat, so there was enough for lunch at home.We both enjoyed margaritas that were bigger than I expected.”

“We visited the winery last summer and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the wines, especially the reds. It's December and we opened a 2018 Syrah to have with Whitetail steak, Yukon Golds, and green salad. The Syrah made a good dinner even better.”

I then request a bag of fresh-popped popcorn and spice it up as I choose, then stock up on dark chocolate or dried fruit, trail mixes, nuts, seeds, etcetera.? ?????????????? We also shop here about weekly, for fresh organic produce and groceries in general. ☺️??”
