What a beautiful spot. If you come to Chelan for some wine do not miss this place! The hostess is friendly, laid back and very accommodating. The view is unbelievable and the wine is quite good. We tried, and loved, their 2017 Pinot Noir. Very bold and complex, definitely not your typical Pinot. This winery has completely surprised me on my visit to Chelan for the 4th of July holiday. I have already visited most of the local winery’s, though some of them were good, this has easily become my favorite. The selections of Red and Whites have universally been excellent. Hidden gem away from the crowd.
Located on a top of the hill overlooking Roses lake and Wapato lake, the setting is picturesque without the glitzy “Villa” feel.
The wines are superb and original. I was on the lookout for something similar to Petit Verdot I tried in Paso Robles and I found it here - the wine even has more character reminiscent of Sagrantino de Montefalco (Itally).
Maraiah was a delight explaining the vines and process of winemaking.
