The property is nice. The rooms are outdated and pretty rundown. Low end low quality amenities and furnishings. The bedding, sheets and blankets could not be cheaper. I would suggest staying a hotel or other destination. Big let down

We used RCI points to stay here so if you book something online you may have a somewhat better experience. This is our 2nd time staying here and the Lodge units are very old like from the 1980's with no updates. So you can expect things like broken floor tiles, very old carpets, kitchen cabinet doors practically falling off etc. It is usable just very old. Also note that this resort has sold the land in front of the Lodge units so now you will just have a view of the million dollar townhomes that have been built and sold to investors, say goodbye to the lake views. I assume if you book a unit outside of RCI then maybe you will get the lakefront units but be aware that they are also remodeling some lakefront units and they will also be selling those to investors. We did really like this resort location and the amenities with the lake especially if you have a boat/kayak. During our stay, none of the Lodge pools were open so we had to take a bit of a hike to use the other location pools. This resort has lost the charm for me and we will not be coming back.

While unloading our truck/settling our kids into the home, my purse was stolen from our backseat. We hadn’t even been there an hour. Then the outdoor pool gave my kids a terrible rash. Really bad experience, even though the house/view was lovely. For the price we expected better.

You do need a car to get to Wapato Pt and also to drive to the fantastic restaurants and wineries. Lake Chelan must be one of the most pristine lakes on earth. Beautiful swimming. Acres of roads and trails for walking and completely safe.

The overall quality of the condo we stayed in was very good. Very clean and comfortable. Our only complaints were the pillows were terrible! Hard as rocks. The toilet paper was lousy. It comes apart in your hands. Has to be the cheapest toilet paper on the market. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Highly recommend. Great location with wineries, hiking/beautiful scenery. The units are updated with washers/dryers, fully equipped it even has individual grills. They have water craft (for rent), indoor pools, fitness facility (not great), basketball courts, etc. Great site for family vacations.

Our trip was a return to a favorite vacation location. As former Wapato Point condo owners, we spent many weeks enjoying boating, bike riding through scenic orchard areas, visiting local wineries an eating at local restaurants. A number of golf courses are challenging and within easy driving distance. Lake Chelan is clean, deep and about 50 miles long with many scenic overlooks.

Great experience. Last year I was here, as well, but a month earlier. There were many more things open for the summer this time--even before Memorial Day. It was a great location to see things in the Chelan and Manson areas. River rafting was within an hours drive. Yes, did that too!

The grounds and units are excellently maintained the on-site restaurant provides great food and excellent wines. With a short ride you can see the quaint German village at Leavenworth. There is some great golf courses close by.

Couples getaway to visit and sample wines at some beautiful wineries with views of Lake Chelan. Hiking trails to get great views of Lake Chelan and the Columbia River. Lovely downtown shopping areas. Wapato Pt. located in small town with great coffee, brewery, wine sampling and great food.
We would love to go back at some point. Little teeny bit run down - needing chalking in the bathroom and some touch up painting. View is marvelous and the grounds were in great shape. The welcome staff was just that - very welcoming!

I have stayed at Wapato Point multiple times and have always had great experiences, until this time. Apparently two of the buildings have been sold and are now managed by Windermere, not the actual Wapato Point office, therefore they were completely unable to help with anything. I called the Windermere phone number and left a message with the answering service upon check in with some concerns, but they failed to return my call. Since I was there a full week I felt this was unacceptable. The ‘Tennis Building’ was where my unit was located and the view is of the parking lot, not the beautiful lake. This was very disappointing, since during all my other RCI exchanges I had a lake view. The unit was clean, and met my needs, but is somewhat dated. I was able to use the pool/hot tub in the main building, but it was made clear that it was a ‘courtesy’, since the Tennis Building was no longer under Wapato Point management. I could tell that there was some major conflict between the past owner and the new management, which is really unfortunate and makes the guest feel uncomfortable. Overall I would still choose to stay at Wapato Point, but I definitely will have to lower my expectations.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days and overall it was great. The only downside was the pool locker rooms. They could definitely use a deep clean. It kept us from wanting to go to the hot tub or the pool more than the one time. Also the hot tub was not very hot.

Wapato Point is there perfect winter vacation. Our family has made it an annual tradition to visit every February. There is still snow on the ground but the roads are clear, making it easy to get around. There are quite a few wineries in the area, some even walking distance. The only downside to traveling during the winter is some winery tasting rooms have limited hours or close early (I suggest calling ahead). The rooms at Wapato are always clean and the front desk is always kind and helpful. I would 100% recommend.

Great view, nice staff, prompt service, enjoyed the surrounding area. Lots of fun shopping, close to Leavenworth . Only issue is outside lighting. Hard to see unit numbers and parking space numbers. Needs some updating but overall just great.
