I will start off at saying that I am biased about my review of el Caporal. I have been going here since I can remember, more than 30 years. So I have childhood memories of this place, and that affects my view. That being said, this place is great. It is good, simple food served with a great attitude and good value for the offering. There might be places that are fancier, or cheaper or maybe even better? But el Caporal wins every time on consistency. I can't ever remember...
Really great Mexican food! Flavorful and delicious, and the salsa had some spice, which is always nice.
My wife and I have been to many of the Mexican food restaurants in the area, and this is our favorite by far.
Service was super fast and friendly, even on a busy Friday evening. And parking was plentiful.

We ordered takeout from here for the first time, and we loved it. The staff was friendly, kind, and welcoming. We ordered the carne asada, and it was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful.
Even though we ordered takeout, the warm and friendly service really stood out. We loved the food and will definitely be ordering from here again. Thank you!
