Sumo Sushi Maple Valley

The finest plate of sushi I've had in quite some time!
I had the large Sushi platter - 17 pieces of nigiri sushi. Every piece was absolutely fresh, sweet, and perfectly cut.
We followed that up with a couple of pieces of Unagi, for desert. It was a wonderful meal!
Service was prompt and attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere was casual but calm and relaxing.
Definitely will be going back SOON!
Addendum: Back today and tried to BlueFin Tuna platter - Toro nigiri sushi (4 pcs), and Toro and Rice Futomaki, and 3pcs Chu toro sashimi and 3 pieces ohtoro sashimi. Wonderful!! very fresh and delicious. Best tuna I've had in years, reminded me of an amazing banquet I attended in Kyoto. That good! Check the pic of the ladt bites of karage, bluefin sushi and sashimi, and a great cold sake! And a tuna appetizer I've never seen before!!

Good product but over priced. They also like to charge extra for things that normally do not cost extra such as searing something. Being that I’ve lived in Japan for 6 years and have Japanese relatives I am a bit of a sushi connoisseur.

After a long drive from out of state, Sumo Sushi hit the spot! Delicious food, served by skilled & friendly staff. We did find a rogue inconvenience (we'll call it) in a bite of food, but were willing to overlook it.

Food was good, wish they had more veggie or none fish options for sushi. Family enjoys traditional sushi, I enjoy the experience but not the fish or seafood.

Food was good and service was spectacular. The menu has a ton of options, and we were pleased to see a reasonably priced sushi roll deal that included nigiri. Atmosphere was similar to a sports bar, which I've never seen at a sushi restaurant before. Highly recommend the rainbow roll!

We showed up a little before 8:30, well before closing time at 9, only to be told they weren’t seating anyone because the kitchen was “closed.” But somehow, they were still doing to-go orders? Doesn’t make any sense. If the kitchen’s closed, it should be closed for everyone. Super disappointing — we came out expecting a nice dinner, but clearly they just didn’t want to serve dine-in customers. If you don’t want to work until closing, then maybe change your hours.

We stopped by on our way home from Mount Rainier, everything we ordered were super delicious!!!
