This was my great-grandma's fave place to go. The orange bread is addicting as hell and they make fantastic doughnuts. In the winter time definitely recommend the julekage! You do have to order it ahead of time generally but GOOD LORD I could eat that everyday forever.

The best donuts around, hours are a little different but they make fresh everyday, you can taste the difference in their signature maple bar!

The atmosphere is dark and gloomy. There is a miserable old lady that works here. I will not return.

Quick stop for ?☕️?. The Oosterwyk family has been “baking” the City of Marysville WA a better place for over 70 yrs. Congratulations on winning “Historical Business of 2024.”

We've lived in Marysville for 8 years but just recently got around to visiting this bakery. Just had our 3rd visit this last weekend but it'll sadly likely be our last. Their donuts and sourdough bread are indeed delicious but we just can't get past the gloomy atmosphere and less than friendly service. Both ladies seem like they're over it and just don't want to be there. Like other reviews have said, we did feel like we were bothering them. Older one makes snarky passive aggressive comments to the other in front of customers as well, which is tacky. The shop is very dark and a little eery, almost as if you can feel the "ghosts" of what once was a lively bakery. To top it off, our 6 donuts and one beignet cost over $30.. which was more than a full dozen from Despi Delite down the street in Everett. Guess we'll be returning to Despi because this place just isn't worth the high prices. Shame.

This is my first time coming here and I am already fully aware that I will be making it a regular stop! The dough on the donuts is absolutely amazing! It's airy and light but packed with flavor. Missed out on the bread as it gets put out at 11 and I went at opening but planning on going back soon! Friendly customer service and an atmosphere that feels original and welcoming

First time I have been there and I’m definitely not going back! The lady is so grumpy the doughnuts are to small for the price and when you see an small business you think the food will be good and u don’t care about the price but in this place I did , I recently moved to Marysville and people like this makes me miss my old place

We try to visit this bakery at least once a week to stock up on bread ( you must try their potato bread and the swedish rye!). But of course we get their doughnut and cookies too. Everything is always good. Sometimes better than good. I cannot get doughnuts anywhere else now as they don't live up to this bakery's standards. In a world that sometimes feels rushed and impersonal, this bakery stands as a beacon of authenticity and genuine craftsmanship. Thank you for consistently brightening our days and satisfying our cravings with your unparalleled creations.
