Firehouse Subs Smokey Point

Absolutely terrible experience at the Firehouse Subs in Marysville. I placed an online order on 3/17/2025 and my boyfriend drove 20 minutes to pick it up. He had to wait an extra 20 minutes past the pick-up time because the staff was completely disorganized and struggling to keep up with orders. Other customers were also complaining about their orders, so clearly this isn’t a one-time issue — this place is a mess.

When he finally got the order and drove another 20 minutes home, we discovered it was the wrong sandwich — even though the receipt on the bag showed the correct order. I called the store and spoke with the manager, who admitted there was a “sandwich mix-up.” His solution? Either remake the sandwich or give me a free one next time. That’s completely unacceptable — I already paid for the order, and I’m not driving another 40 minutes round trip to fix their mistake.

I asked for a refund, which should’ve been the obvious solution, but the manager said he couldn’t do that. Seriously? Now I have to dispute the charge with my credit card company, and I’m left with nothing to eat for lunch. Completely unacceptable. The fact that they wouldn’t even refund the order after admitting their mistake is pathetic.

Save yourself the headache and avoid this place. Terrible service, incompetent staff, and even worse customer service. I will never be going back. 👎👎

I used to go to a Forehouse in another State. Found this one and had my usual pastrami. I loved it. Service here is great too, they were all guys. It’s right around other stores to shop (for those who like that). They also have glutten free bread (for the wife).

Great food, friendly service, easy online ordering, and they support fire fighters. Nice to see a sub shop that gives back to the community.

Facility is extremely dirty. We reached out to the owner to let them know that there was issues with their facility and how they were handling their staff that were extremely rude after we waited 30 minutes for our food when I asked them where our food was because other people got theirs first Talk to their staff and told that I should’ve told them that I placed my order and that I was there to pick it up even though it said it would be ready at 2:10 10 minutes after we placed it. When we were waiting. We watch them have their cooling systems fixed their coolers. The guy fixing them had to clean up all of the disgusting water out of their cooling system that they never clean and slopped it all around their food items , The whole time he was cleaning up the mess that they should never have allowed to get that bad. He was explaining to them that they actually do need to clean that stuff out as he told them it’s floating mold and such. They have a lack of handling food. They have no problem cross contaminating wearing gloves in areas and not changing them touching faces using restrooms not washing hands. we used to come here all the time the facility was cleaner. It has gotten absolutely disgusting. Don’t try reaching out to ownership or even firehouse because all you get is the runaround and lack of care , if anyone emails you back

I love the food here and really believe this place is the most underrated sandwich chain. For a hot sub, I’d stop here over all competitors.

Smokey Point can be iffy after dark though but there’s plenty of lights and parking that it’s not a big issue.

I was irritated when I left. But thought about my visit and was more irritated with myself. I ordered a sandwich meal and payed. I asked for my cup and was told you didn't say meal. I said yes I did! and was told you didn't! I got instantly irritated. But the young lady helping me was obviously new and therefore excusable and did a fantastic job. everything else was great.

Took over 15 minutes for the two guys working to make one medium sandwich. I understand staffing can be short right now but took us around 5 minutes to even be helped with no one ahead of us and another 15 just for one sandwich
