Brisket was cut oddly. Like they had some random left over pieces. Odd thickness, triangular, rectangular whatever shapes you can imagine with couple pieces that were half fat. Never seen brisket cut like that. Eaten brisket all over the country and cook them myself and never seen it cut and served the way ours was. Taste could have been fine but turned off by what it looked like on our plate.

Meat is very tender but is about it, to simple and bo flavor. You pay separately for everything including the BBQ sauce. You're eating at a BBQ place but you pay for the sauce separately? Can you believe it?. Service was ok, the guy that serves customer service is horrible, and overpriced, I personally wouldn't ho back and not recommend this place .

I had the beef brisket and it was absolutely amazing. Perfectly smoked, tender, and packed with flavor. Hands down the best brisket I’ve ever had. If you’re a barbecue lover, this place is a must.

If you're hankering for some BBQ, look no further than Jeff's. Do it. Make it a day trip. Find some nice scenic route to get past i5 traffic. It's worth it. The chili alone is the stuff of dreams. I've had most of their menu and can't think of a single thing that I didn't care for. Echoed by all the guests I've served Jeff's to as well.

Love this little joint. They have the best brisket beans that has chunks of pineapple in it. My go to is potato salad, brisket beans, pecan pie, and one of my husband's ribs!

Always good and very consistent, love the fact that they love to try new and different things so there's always something special on the menu. It's a 19 mile drive for me each way and I don't have a problem driving it because it's definitely worth the trip.

Way over priced, 30$ for 2/3 lb of brisket and 1/3 of it is fat, pork belly was undercooked and had zero smoke flavor, Mac and cheese was inedible, Sausage was mealy/dry and the cloeslaw was trash as well. Completely flavorless , over priced and a huge disappointment. I hate to say it but Dickeys was way better may it rest in peace.

Just north of 88th and State St sits what might be the best bbq around. I had the little tray with turkey, mac and cheese, pickles and banana pudding. Everything was slappin. Get here early or call ahead they sell out fast. I could write a piece about this place the owner and the staff but you should go yourself instead!
Vegetarian options: Local sourced corn on the cob and strawberry shortcake both seasonal
Parking: Easy parking right in front
Kid-friendliness: They decorated for Halloween!
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in easy out for the main area, small step into the auxiliary dining area
Decent BBQ but charging for sauce is a ridiculous and non-authentic policy. The carpet in the seating area is stained all over the place and kind of gross.
