Great place to go have a quiet beer after work on the off hours. You can choose a few of your favorite songs and the barmaid is the best gal in town. Go on the weekend and there's a party guaranteed. Food is great too. Try the western burger.

I genuinely enjoy the time I spend at The Lariat. It's not pretentious, it's not phony, it's just a good bar for good people. You'll meet all kinds there, looking for a good time and trying to put their troubles behind them (for a few hours at least). It seems like neighborhood taverns are a thing of the past, but for some of us they still have their value. It's hard running a small business in this day and age, and it really bothers me to watch people who take a chance on themselves struggle with the adversity of it. My advice to you: Get off your rear end, head down to Old Mead and engage strangers over a beer (or four). Keith & Paul are good people...don't let a gem die. Also: Karaoke is awesome (Cheyenne makes the magic happen) and I need an outlet for my inner Dwight Yoaksm.

Wait here with high expectations work down the street and have always seen this place and heard great things unfortunately when I went there the service was very horrible The lady working the cash register was horrible. The food was so horrible it was almost unedible I ordered the mozzarella sticks they weren't even cooked all the way! My buddy ordered a burger All the toppings onions tomatoes lettuce seems very fresh Burger seemed pretty decent but all in all not worth what the ask was. I ordered an asked for one of the better recommended beers on the menu The waitress had no idea The owner said he has a vanilla porter I said okay I'll try that it tasted like vanilla coke! I hope this place can come back up as it's a local nice spot to go to but with this kind of service and food and beer I would never be back
