Had a wonderful time. Josh the owner was hospitable and Jim was exceptional in servicing our group (huge group mind you). So kind and attentive. Although it was tight they made the atmosphere sublime. With the little space they curated a fabulous atmosphere, and for tht I applaud! Additionally, we were here for a champagne tasting hosted by Bill, owner of Sustenance Distributing. Overall, a phenomenal experience. Will definitely return.

Fantastic wine selection paired with lovely charcuterie options. Love going there to see Friday evening music, especially when Chris Stevens is playing!

This is a wonderful little spot with great hospitality. A wide selection of wines and I have enjoyed several of the plates here. Thank you Barrels for being a great neighborhood spot.

I had the pheasant sandwich which tasted as though it had come straight out of the fridge, and the honey, brie and crackers which also were a bit chilly. In case anyone is wondering, the crackers were paper thin. I wasn’t expecting the food to be sizzling hot, but a little warm would’ve been nice. Otherwise, perfectly edible.

Visited October 2024. Delightful little wine bar in a nice neighborhood on Mercer island. Attentive service, excellent wines and simple affordable food options. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere inside. Not the least bit pretentious which can be a problem at wine bars.

I came in a party of 6. 3 of my friends were charged twice. We called to correct the error with proof, the refused a refund until we threatened charge back.

Meh. Place was overcrowded and drinks spilled. There's some drama with the owner having a friend who takes advantage of women that really spoiled the mood. Plenty other bars in the area that are cheaper and offer a more relaxed experience.

Simply the best spot for wine and appetizers on Mercer Island. The owners are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Can't say enough good things about Barrels!!

So happy this wine bar is here. Small and cozy with amazing selection of wine by the glass and bottles. Tina and Joe are excellent stewards. Great spot to come solo or with friends. Cheers.
