I don't get the hate for this place. I think it's a solid spot for Mercer Island. I've called and placed my order in person and have always had friendly service. It's a tad expensive comparatively, but that's what you get with convenience. Even so, I live in New York City now, but every time I come home I ask my parents to pick me up teriyaki. It just hits the spot!
Exactly what you want out of Seattle Style Teriyaki. Portion is good, food is timely, meat juicy and not over saucy. Spicy chicken spice level is perfect. Salad was crunchy and not soggy. dressing was more tangy then Im used to but I dont mind.

We live just a 3–5 minute walk away, and the service is unbelievably fast. We’ll call in our order, walk right over, and it’s already hot and ready by the time we walk through the door. The guy working the counter is always super friendly, warm, and welcoming.
