I ordered yakisoba take out and was there within 10 minutes of ordering, and it was warm with no flavor, just watery and oily noodles

Island Pho – Mercer Island’s Hidden Gem for Comforting Pho
If you’re craving a warm, flavorful bowl of pho, Island Pho on Mercer Island is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.
The star of the show is, without a doubt, the pho. The broth is rich, aromatic, and clearly simmered with care—deep layers of flavor that hit all the right notes. Whether you go for the classic beef combo or the tender brisket, each bowl is packed with generous portions of meat, fresh herbs, and perfectly cooked noodles. The balance is just right—nothing overpowers, and everything comes together beautifully.
The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and the portions are more than satisfying. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to come back the next day for another bowl. For pho lovers, Island Pho is a comforting, delicious standout on the island.

Everything was very subpar compared to other Pho locations nearby, the noodles threw me off entirely. Service was good I have no complaints about that.

I don't know if it's a Mercer Island thing or what but I feel like I got half the amount of meat that I normally would get anywhere else. honestly it was very meh. Like it wasn't gross but I won't ever go there again.

This is pretty much the only pho place I’ve found in the Seattle Area that does authentic noodles (what you actually find in Vietnam) . Love them. Broth and shredded chicken are both solid.

We tried Island Pho recently because it was closer then driving to Factoria or Seattle, and we are glad we did! Since going a few months ago, we have been back multiple times. My wife's go-to is the chicken pho and mine is the lemongrass chicken vermicelli. Service has always been laid back but accommodating and the meals are prepared quickly. Also, you get a decent portion of good food for a reasonable price. We really like this place!

I ate here after my yoga class close by. I was craving something healthy. It was fresh and delicious. I ordered the regular veggie pho and it came with tofu cabbage and lots of veggies, homemade rice pho noodles. The price was 12.75$ before tax. I would come back again as this is at least my 2nd time dining here.

Typical pho spot type of atmosphere. Cozy and brings you your delicious bowl without too much fuss. However, the fuss is all about the fresh noodles that come standard with all their bowls of pho. I am so thankful I found this place!
I’ll do a poor job of explaining it but essentially the noodles are thicker and slipperily than standard pho noodle noodles and almost have a pasta like consistency but man do they really bump pho up the texture of pho up a couple of notches. The fresh noodle come with all their pho unless asked for otherwise, make sure you want to experience this delight and if not they can sub for dry noodles and their broth is still kicking.
Give it a shot!

Honestly the flavor and beef was fine but I am so disappointed they don’t use traditional pho noodles. They use large rice noodles which left every bite with a mushy chewy texture.. hopefully consider using standard pho noodles

The first time we came here three years ago, the food was absolutely delicious. However, when we returned about six months later under different ownership, it was a completely different experience. They used the wrong type of noodles for pho, and the broth had no flavor, so we haven’t been back since. That said, after reading more recent reviews, it seems like things might have improved again. We’re considering giving it another try since we live so close, and it would be great to have a good pho option nearby instead of driving all the way to Bellevue.
*Want to clarify since they responded, maybe this was different ownership because they were thick udon noodles and because of that they didn’t hold the flavor very well. They were not pho noodles, homemade or not. But I believe it was different owners then.

The food here is UNREAL. A hidden gem. I didn’t like Pho until I tried it here! If you’re a sauce/condiment person, I’d recommend asking for extra but that’s the only “negative” I’ve found. Otherwise, service is quick and friendly.

Best pho broth and homemade rice noodles I've ever had. It does get uncomfortably warm in the restaurant as it's very small but that won't stop me!

Great pho at an awesome price. The homemade noodles are 100% worth it and the meatballs are fragrant and tasty. The vermicelli Bun dishes make for a great takeout meal with a very tasty dipping sauce for rolls. If you’re looking for Vietnamese food on Mercer Island or just a great meal in general, this is the spot.
