I placed a phone order on 16 April at 6:07 pm via phone to Mercer Island Location. First when I called the number listed on Google the caller ID says Tidal Artist Haven. The lady answered the phone and just said hello, I had to ask, is this just poke? She said yes and I tried to place my order. The employee did not speak English very well and I told her what I wanted to order. I ordered a rainbow bowl, a spam misubi and a build your own bowl. I asked for Hawaiian ahi, sushi rice, house shoyu sauce, roasted corn, crab salad, crispy garlic, tempura crunchies and sesame seeds. What I actually received was ahi, rice, cucumbers, onions, crunchies. There was no garlic, no corn, no sauce and I do not like cucumbers. When my husband got to the location to pick up the order he said no one there spoke English very well and there were many other customers having issues with their orders being done wrong. We paid over $40 for small portions and orders that were wrong! In addition today I had severe diarrhea that I can only assume came from this meal. This was my first experience with Just Poke and my last. Customer service, customer communication and order accuracy needs major work.

The food was ok. Pretty standard poke. Two stars for the incredibly stingy portion of eel (literally size of a finger) that I paid extra for. Overall portions are on the smaller side too.

I'm so glad Just Poke opened a location on Mercer Island. I've been going to their location in Bellevue for the past year. While the protein portions are carefully measured their accompaniments and sides are generous. Just love it!

Always great service and consistent food quality. I was a little surprised that their spicy tuna/salmon was actually spicy but that's not a bad thing. It's a nice little place to stop by on Mercer and take it to-go.

In general, I like Just Poke and am glad to see it's expanded to several areas throughout the Seattle area. I visited Just Poke this past Friday around lunch time and the place was busy. This location is specifically in the Island Square apartments in a small, narrow retail space. The space is takeout only as there is no seating for dining inside or out. There's only one entrance and exit, so when it gets busy, it can get tight with a long line and narrow space. Just Poke has increased its prices. A large build-your-own bowl is $17, so it's a spendy lunch. For a large bowl, you get three proteins, which they weigh on a scale, so it doesn't matter how large or small a scoop can be. You can choose unlimited toppings, with some for an upcharge, such as kimchi, avocado, etc. For my bowl, I chose the ahi tuna, spicy salmon (a seasonal protein) and spicy tuna. The fishes were all great and what I like about Just Poke compared to some other poke spots is that the fish is marinated with spices and sauces, which makes it more flavorful. And the heat is real. My meal was solid, but the sushi rice was slightly stale and dry. The poke bowls are created in an assembly line, so multiple employees help build your bowl. The last employee who helped me seemed to be in a rush, so closed the lid on one of my bowls before I could ask for toppings. There is a parking garage in the building where Just Poke is located, but there's also a parking lot across the street that the employees said was okay to park at too. Overall, this is a great addition for Mercer Island. There's just some misses here and there, but that's to be expected with any new business.

Ordered the Pike Place salmon poke bowl. It was bland and flavorless. I couldn't tell if it was salmon or not. It tasted like water. The miso soup on the side was like drinking seawater. Someone must've poured and entire 2 liter bottle of soy sauce into it. Overpriced. One salmon poke bowl and miso soup was $25 with tip. I feel like I got robbed.

Love the food! They prepare it so nicely! The spicy tuna is always fresh and delicious. Met the owner Ticky and she is the best! So inviting and very nice. Parking is actually free for 2 hours in the back parking garage if you can’t find parking on the street. I’ll definitely be coming back! A+ service and food.

Been twice since recent opening. Second best poke in seattle after FOB, but terrific option to have on the Island. Ordered to go both times, easy online interface and always ready on time. Parking right out front to run in. I build my own bowl (large) and salmon and tuna is fresh and no limit on toppings. Recommend!
