I was really disappointed with my experience here. The food was very average and tasted under-seasoned, especially considering the price. My boyfriend and I spent about $57, and I honestly did not feel it was worth it.

The service also made me uncomfortable. When I try to order a drink, the server checked my ID, which is totally understandable. However, my ID is valid and clearly shows that I turned 21 in 2023. Instead of simply checking it, the staff passed my ID around to multiple people, which felt awkward and unnecessary.

Before we left, the staff told me I should go online and get a new ID. I found that comment rude and unprofessional, especially since my ID is still valid. Overall, the food and service were both disappointing, and I would not come back.

The Good:
I really like the food, the friendly servers, and the convenient location here.

The Issue:
Unfortunately, my biggest issue is order accuracy—specifically regarding proteins. Whether dining in or ordering to go, I consistently get the wrong meat. This has happened during my last three visits:

Visit 1: Ordered carne asada, received chicken.

Visit 2: Ordered chicken, received beef. (On this visit, my dining companion also received the incorrect meat).

Visit 3 (Today): Ordered beef, received chicken.

The Breakdown:
Something is clearly broken in the communication chain. Either the tickets aren't being sent to the kitchen correctly, the servers aren't double-checking, or the kitchen staff simply doesn't care.

Customers don't want to send food back and risk waiting around just to see if it comes out right the second time; they usually just eat the mistake.

The Bottom Line:
It is incredibly frustrating to pay for a meal and consistently not get what I actually ordered. I love the flavor of the food, but this ongoing order-mixup issue is exactly why I've started staying away longer and longer. I hope management can look into this kitchen-to-server communication pipeline.

Lunch today, 4/30/26 at this restaurant.VERY disappointing!
The meat on the tostada was almost non existent, lacking in authentic flavor, refried beans tasted like canned. Generally, well below par. Strongly suggest you save your money - much toooo $$$ for what it was. My rating? I'll be kind and give it a '2'.

Some of the price complaints in these reviews are completely out of touch. For this location, the pricing is absolutely reasonable and the quality backs it up. The food is genuinely excellent, the drinks are on point, and the overall vibe is great. The staff are solid people too, which makes a difference. I’ve been all over both sides of the island, and this is easily one of my favorite spots.

We popped over to Mercer Island for dinner to get out of town for a bit (we live in Newcastle) and we were very pleased! I had the seafood enchiladas and they were delicious! Food came out quickly, family friendly and comfortable atmosphere and everyone was very nice! Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic family atmosphere and great place to catch the game with friends, I never have a complaint when I come here. Prices are a bit higher than North Seattle where I live but pretty standard for Mercer island in general.
